Awesome speeds, great budget gigabit router

TP-LINK Archer C7 Wireless AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Router, 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz + 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz, 1 USB Port, IPv6, Guest Network
TP-LINK Archer C7 Wireless AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Router, 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz + 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz, 1 USB Port, IPv6, Guest Network

Pros: Best price per performance on wifi speeds Gigabit ports External antennas (don't know why but I hate "no antenna" routers)

Cons: DNS server issues with League of legends 5ghz band has short range Limited advanced options Not dd-wrt compatible

Overall Review: I made sure to use this router for a couple months before I gave a review. I played with all the settings possible. I am really enjoying using this router. One thing that irked me was tat the range of this 5ghz band seemed weak, Though I haves tested many dual band routers and found the same thing. I know there are explanations for this all over the Internet but I'm not going get into it. Another thing was that I play league of legends and couldn't for the life of me log into the server and the riots support pages recommended doing port forwarding and changing DNS manually to 8.8.8.8. Although that worked, I was determined to track down the issue because it didn't ever do that with my old router. Long story short I tracked it down to checking the option "use these default DNS servers and everything works now. Other than this, this router would be a 5-egg router for people who don't play league of legends. Wifi network speeds are impressive! Hope this helps someone out there! Enjoy!

WORSE PRODUCT EVER

Megavision S2020 Dual LCD Screen Stand support up to two 22" Wide in Horizontal Position
Megavision S2020 Dual LCD Screen Stand support up to two 22" Wide in Horizontal Position

Pros: Fits 17" and 19" monitors just fine.

Cons: When you try 20" widescreens, it doesn't fit. What I mean is, it doesn't allow you to face the LCDs inward to face you. It's a horrible design. The stand says it supports up to 22", but if you wanna put 22"s on here, you'll have to face the screens outward. They didn't think you would put higher than 19" LCDs or what?

Overall Review: Stay away unless you're doing 17" or 19" LCDs.

GREAT HEADSET for the money!

Plantronics GameCom P80 Wireless Gaming Headset - PlayStation 4 & PC (OEM Package)
Plantronics GameCom P80 Wireless Gaming Headset - PlayStation 4 & PC (OEM Package)

Pros: - inexpensive - microphone is crystal clear (from playing with skype callback) - battery life

Cons: - less comfortable than your average headset (it presses a little hard inbetween your temple and ear) - idle static

Overall Review: I love this headset. I am 5'11" and am skinny (well, skinny fat). I understand why people say this is the most uncomfortable headset they've ever worn. Some people complain about how they can't keep it on for more than 20 minutes, but I decided to test that theory. Yes, they are pretty uncomfortable, but likely more uncomfortable for chunkier people. I put them on at work for about 8 hours, and yes, the headset presses against your head in the area between your temple and your ears. They definitely did not do any quality control or end user testing before it went into production. I got this for ten dollars after rebate, and at that price, I can't complain. The battery life is exceptional. On the very first charge, I used it for about 16 hours before it started beeping for me to recharge them (though I don't listen to very many things on high volume). I use it at work for conference calls, streaming youtube, and doing skype/google hangout calls. If you want to pay a high price for a quality headset, this is not your thing, but if you want a headset for basic to intermediate use, then go for it. I use this thing all day and do not regret my purchase one bit at 10 bucks. At 40, I would not pay for it.

WORST PRODUCT EVER!!!

SAPPHIRE 100925 Active Mini Display Port (M) to Single-Link DVI (F) Cable
SAPPHIRE 100925 Active Mini Display Port (M) to Single-Link DVI (F) Cable

Pros: None. A pro would be that you didn't buy it.

Cons: Right off the bat, this adapter was giving me problems with my ATI radeon HD 7000 series card. It's not a high end card, but the adapter would just flake out once in a while (for my 3rd monitor running ATI eyefinity). Now, it was a completely new build so I didn't know what it was at first that was causing my 3rd monitor to turn off and then on every 30 or 40 minutes. At about 3 months in, the adapter completely died. I RMAed it and got an adapter from the company. Great, so I plugged it in, and IT DOES THE SAME EXACT THING, it turns off my monitor for 4 seconds every hour or so.

Overall Review: Now, you might be thinking, is it the video card, etc. that's causing the problems? So I decided to just buy an ATI certified adapter from Accell off Am**zon just to see whether or not it was the adapter. After I received the new adapter, it gave me NO problems whatsoever. I wonder if RMA just decided to give me one that got returned with the same problem description. I would never buy anything from this company ever again, no video cards, no nothing. FYI, after the first adapter died, a few months later, my Gigabyte Motherboard BIOS started having problems. After that, Gigabyte just had to give me a new motherboard cause they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I HIGHLY SUSPECT THAT THIS ADAPTER SCR*WED UP MY MOTHERBOARD AS WELL. STAY AWAYYYYY! I have been a technician for over 10 years for desktop PCs. I have NEVER come across a product this bad.... EVER.

It.... Doesn't work...

ABS NW-101-8P 8 Port FE Switch
ABS NW-101-8P 8 Port FE Switch

Pros: I hoped to find some if it worked.

Cons: ... It never worked. ABS will not repair it.

Overall Review: I bought this for a LAN party. When I went to setup, I brought this. It never worked to begin with. I called Newegg and they credited me back for the product. I went to get an RMA from ABS but they said I had to go get a replacement from Newegg... argh... Never again, ABS... never again.

SUPER QUITE

Eagle Tech ATX-GM520SC 520W ATX 12V Version 2.0 ; EPS 12V Version 2.1 Modular Power Supply
Eagle Tech ATX-GM520SC 520W ATX 12V Version 2.0 ; EPS 12V Version 2.1 Modular Power Supply

Comments: I plugged this PS in and there is virtually no sound coming from this power supply. I know this because I turned off all of my other fans (including cpu!) to hear the sound. I have my bios' smart fan turned on, so from time to time, my computer is completely silent, especially idle times. Completely silent!!! Provides enough power to everything. I love this one!
