Dense storage, poor power connectors

Pros: Storage density is great for a single bay. Especially when used with a mini-ITX chassis. Metal construction. Feels sturdy.
Cons: Poorly thought out SATA power connectors. Quite a few power supplies on the market use the daisy-chain style SATA power connectors. This is only (easily) compatible with the straight style. The problem with a daisy chained connector is the extra width required since the cord enters and exits the SATA connector at an angle. Adding insult to injury, after plugging in the first connector, you have to twist the cable 180 degrees, and flip the connector another 180 degrees since they did not position the keyed edge in the same direction for both SATA power connectors. Also, the fans block the full-seating of this style. Just something to beware of on an otherwise great product. If you have the daisy-chain style SATA power connectors from your PSU, you may want simple extensions or adapters to avoid the acrobatics.
just ok / somewhat quirky

Pros: Shows sensor readings (volts, temps) and allows for remote power control (on / off / reset).
Cons: Will be removing this until something is updated. Seems to cause issues with ESXi 5.5. Using both the 1.05 and 1.08 firmware, and installed in a P9D-E/4L (with latest 0701 bios), one cpu core ramps up while system is idle (usually 15min after boot, no VM running). Also, the system will not shut down with this installed. It makes it through the shut down process, and at the final moment where power should be cut, the CPU ramps up, temps go up 25C+ and wall power up 10-15 watts.
Overall Review: It's fine for remote power on, and if you don't mind having Java installed on the PC, you can access this via the web for remote screen viewing. Also works fine to check volts, temps, and some logs (ecc). As another poster stated... its definitely no iDRAC or similar. The wasted CPU cycles, and inability to fully power off are deal breakers for me.
Amazong packaging by Newegg

Pros: The 6 TB version seemed like the best balance between price, size, performance and noise / heat. This is going in a 4 bay NVR which is in a very quiet environment. So far, these drives seem much quieter than the 7200rpm version (during seek) which are being swapped out 1 at a time to allow the RAID rebuilds to catch up. Temps are 10C lower than the 7200 pro version. (37C vs. 47-49C per SMART data.)
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Newegg did an amazing job on packaging these drives. A larger than expected box arrived filled with air cushion around the 4 smaller internal boxes, all evenly spaced and laid out perfectly. Opening each of the smaller boxes was a bubble wrap sleeve, which itself was also wrapped in a sheet of thick bubble wrap. Inside all of that, the static bagged drive. Whoever packaged this was definitely paying attention to the details. I can't imagine a better way to ship a drive. Will definitely be ordering all drives from Newegg in the future.
Awesome!

Pros: After a lot of research, decided on this for an ESXi host. First off, THANK YOU to CyberPower for making a ridiculously easy to use virtual appliance that can be loaded right in to ESXi. Did not feel like dealing with command line to safely shut down VMs during power failure. Email notifications and level of configuration for the virtual appliance made this a no brainer. This unit seems to be at the high end of the sweet-spot for capacity, price, physical size, and features.
Cons: none so far, none expected
Overall Review: Started using CyberPower as an alternative to APC. This will be the 3rd unit personally (different models), though we deploy many of both brands in our business environments. One CyberPower unit MUST be around 10 years old...? Still going. Did replace the batteries, but that's to be expected and was simple. Both brands seem great, nothing against APC. Sometimes it comes down to the extra features or cost. In this case, the software to manage shutdowns, pure sine wave for active PFC PSUs, and long runtime combined.
Zero

Pros: Dominator heat sink is cool.
Cons: All stock speeds, no OC, was getting errors in Windows like "....referenced memory that cannot be read." Tested with Memtest86. One stick failed, the other fine.
Overall Review: The RMA process could be easy... if this model were in the list of products to choose from.
Why the jump?

Pros: Great drives, even with the firmware update required on the older models, to prevent data corruption. Purchased two over the last year and both are doing perfectly fine in 24/7 use.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Why the price jump from $79 to $109 to $129 in ONE MONTH? Was going to get another, but definitely not after seeing them double in price for no apparent reason. The $79 / free shipping price was the main reason for the purchase in the first place.
