Works as advertised
Pros: Not doing any AI yet, but it's a perfectly good Linux system, and fast for its size. -- Ian
Overall Review: Recomended. A wifi on board would be nice, but it's clearly documented there isn't one, and most USB wifi adapters will work.
Works OK as a display
Pros: I bought this mostly as a secondary display for my Mac, and as such it works, in the HDMI + power mode. That's why I'm keeping it.
Cons: The utility software is quite broken on the Mac - unusable, in fact. Probably it needs update for modern MacOS versions (I run Big Sur). I was able to uninstall it, and I'm grateful for that, but it means the extras (the pen and hotkeys) don't work at all, and the display only with the default settings, also the single-cable USB-C mode doesn't work.
Overall Review: As it is, I can't recommend it. Please fix the utility software.
Good
Pros: Helps charge things that can't be moved close to outlets
Cons: It would be helpful to have an indication when it is full. I haven't found a way. The pilot lights tell me it is exposed to light and charging itself but not when it's done.
Overall Review: It definitely does what I need. I recommend it. OTOH, it can still be improved.
Does exactly what it promises
Pros: Very easy to wrap around a drive, works perfectly
Cons: Drive does get a bit hot when active. So far it hasn't caused any problems, though.
Overall Review: I recommend Orico very much. I also have their 3 bay USB-3 enclosure and that works great too.
Great
Pros: Does what is says, and is very good at it. The change in my sleep when I started using it was incredible. Really, it is better than taking melatonin pills.
Cons: The first full charge was rather longer than the manual suggests, at least 6 hours. After that, if I keep it plugged in the USB port all the time, regardless of AC power to the computer, it just works - charges enough during daytime to be used on battery in the evening.
Overall Review: Definitely recommended.
Assembly required
Pros: Multiple adapter trays, helps with any SIM card format difference
Cons: The trays are too thick; no way any of them will slide into a normal SIM card slot
Overall Review: I had to file the adapter I needed with a nail file until it was thin enough to fit. By that time it was also thin enough to break easily :-(
