all future, not much legacy in this m/b

Pros: High quality ASUS board clearly designed with the future in mind. 8 Sata ports, 10 USB ports tells you about what kind of connectivity you need to consider. PCI looks to be begrudgingly added. Current video cards push it out & dual video cards ... just forget PCI. Compatible with the Swiftech Apogee XT water block. With little effort I OC-ed it to 4 GHz. When I have a break I know it will go higher.
Cons: none
Overall Review: This is a clean board & something of a bold design by ASUS in eliminating or making it inconvenient to use legacy parts. Windows 7 64 bit installed without a glitch.
numerous read erros

Pros: none ... the drive is DOA & holding up a new build for business
Cons: This drive has numerous read errors per WD's diagnostic software. This & per other buyer's similar issues I am returning for a refund.
Fn keys? Yes, they are there ... but ...

Pros: Both keyboard & mouse have a nice feel. I use it with a Dell 810 AIO. The mouse that came with the Dell was a PITA on a granite counter top. Night & day improvement w/ the MS Designer mouse although works with issues on clear glass.
Cons: The 1st time I needed Fn keys, I could not find them & didn't think it had any. Unlikely of course given that this a MS product. The Fn & number labels for the function keys can only be seen under bright light ... labels could have been done better
Overall Review: Not sure about auto-shut off/on for travel for battery life. No idea about battery life as yet.
