Great bang for the buck!!!!!
Pros: This board is a great budget overclocker! I have a Intel E2140 running Idle @ 3.2GHz @ 1.36V @ 28*C on air! Prime95 Load @ 3.2GHz @ 1.36V @ 48*C!!!! Cooler is a Thermalright Ultima 90i with 92mm Themaltake Smart Fan. The onboard sound on this board is great compared to most.
Cons: No RAID =(
Overall Review: My rig is as follows: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 Allendale @ 3.2GHz GIGABYTE P35 DS3L motherboard G.SKILL (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800MHz Memory @ 4-4-3-5 PNY nVidia 7900GS 256Mb Video Card Core @ 450MHz - Memory @ 1.32 GHz Themalright Ultima 90i CPU Cooler with 92mm Themaltake Smart Fan Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive SAMSUNG Black 20X DVD Burner Ultra 600W Modular Power Supply Ultra Aluminus Full Tower w/window (2)Thermaltake 120mm Thunderblade Fans (1)80mm Thermaltake Thunderblade Fan
Defective print on one side
Pros: It has a zipper and the color looks good.
Cons: There is a white line (defect) going across the mouth on one side. Obviously from a piece of scrap thread or material that was stuck to it during the printing process. The material is very thin. Prob won’t last very long. I hope the stitching for the zipper holds up.
Overall Review: Strangely there was a second pillowcase included in the package with the hammer design from Pink Floyd the Wall. The wording on it was obviously done by someone who doesn’t speak English well and didn’t know the lyrics to Another brick in the wall Pt.2 exactly lol. Ironically, the 2nd pillowcase is made from the same thin material and has the same printing defect as the Cookie Monster pillowcase. Looks like a piece of white string was stuck to it during printing.
Excellent SSD. Don't hesitate.
Overall Review: Works great in point of sale workstation build. Super fast.
G.Skill has never let me down
Overall Review: Bought this for a point of sale workstation build. Lightning fast with the customers accounting software. Can't go wrong with G.Skill.
Great in Workstation
Overall Review: Bought for point of sale computer build. Lightning fast with the customers accounting software and other various office software. Nice to see AMD giving Intel some good competition.
Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz
Pros: 3.33GHz on stock volts. Decent OC but not as impressive as some of the other chips available.
Cons: Booted into windows XP @ [email protected] but wasn't stable. I got this CPU to upgrade a 2140 that OC'd easily to 3.2GHz so 3.33GHz is a bit of a let down. This CPU is also a little on the warm side idle@100*F which surprised me since it is based on 45 nano tech. My 2140 idles@ 90*F @ 3.2GHz.
Overall Review: This CPU is not a bad deal for the money but if buying a CPU on a budget I would stick with the 21XX series as the extra 1meg of Cache really isn't that noticeable and not really worth the extra $20-$30.
