Big, Roomy, and Pretty Darn Good Looking

Thermaltake Armor VA8000SWA Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake Armor VA8000SWA Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Ok, the big things are: Big, Roomy, awesome airflow, looks pretty impressive, and I'm more than happy with it. It's got nice screw-less brackets for all your 5.25" drives, and they actually hold the drives in. Also, its got more room for stuff than I've ever seen. Allows you to really lay out the inside of it the way you want. Comes with pre-perforated holes for water-cooling tubes, a nice window on the side (you can see EVERYTHING through that window), and even a little accessory drawer in the front. Mobo's do tend to sit a little low, but there's a few different size spacers for the mobo risers...look around in the bag, you'll see them.

Cons: Um...doesn't assemble my computer for me? pff. I guess the little screwless PCI card fastening thing was slightly annoying when installing my Geforce 8800 Ultra, but at this point its fantastic for keeping it in place and fastened, so its not really a con. and you might need to fidget your PSU around to get it in...mine's a monster, so the problem may have been a lil worse for me.

Overall Review: It's awful big, so unless you're gonna use all that space, do you really need to get a case this big? Great for high-end gaming systems, nice and roomy for Geforce 8800's, water cooling, etc etc. My specs: Thermaltake Armor (full tower) case, Asus Striker Extreme mobo, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700, MSI GeForce 8800Ultra OC'd, 2x LG 18x SATA dvd burner, Gigabyte Galaxy2 Liquid Cooling, 2 x 2 GB Corsair XMS2, Silverstone ST1000 1000W PSU, Samsung SpinPoint T 500 GB SATA 3.0Gb/s HD

PC CHIPS BOARD DOA!!!

PC CHIPS M848A (V5.0) 462(A) SiS 746FX ATX AMD Motherboard
PC CHIPS M848A (V5.0) 462(A) SiS 746FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: um...cheap? supports socket A...and newegg only has 5 boards that still support that. that's about the only good thing about this board

Cons: Dead On Arrival. gave me some CMOS errors that other people who've reviewed said the board gave them, then eventually it wouldn't go to the POST. So now, the board's dead, my old board's trash, which is why i got this one, and i can't even get the driver cd out of the computer now since it won't POST. DON'T BUY THIS BOARD!!!

Overall Review: I got this board because it was relatively inexpensive and had decent reviews...little did i know the good reviews were the minority...this board is notorious for being faulty and crashing...DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

Pretty solid buy

ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) W/Speakers
ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) W/Speakers

Pros: Pretty good monitor for the price! Bright, clear, no dead pixels, and you can switch inputs, allowing multiple devices (for all you kids with an xbox next to ur PC)

Cons: no tilt, no height adjustment, but if you're buying this you know what you're getting into. power button could be a smidge easier to press. not really a huge issue tho.

Overall Review: I have it sitting next to a relatively new Acer 22.1" and you can see the difference clearly...this monitor is nice and bright, crisp colors. A solid buy at the price.

AWESOME GAME! works with vista x64 too!

Guitar Hero 3 with Guitar PC Game
Guitar Hero 3 with Guitar PC Game

Pros: Awesome game, great set list, amazing graphics (depending on your hardware), and sounds awesome (maximize it to your hardware). and IT DOES WORK WITH VISTA X64. I have vista business x64 and its running GH3 like a champ right now. I have a geforce gtx8800 ultra and its running awesome. You don't have to restart with the guitar plugged in either, just plug and play. Make sure the game is your active window, that caught me the first time.

Cons: Um....They CLAIM it doesn't work with x64? I didn't get it sooner?

Overall Review: Awesome game, Not too painful a price, looks great, awesome songs...i mean...come on, AFI, Disturbed, AND awesome classic rock bands. You can't beat it. best guitar hero yet. Make sure you have good specs tho.

Awesome processor. Period.

Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 - Core 2 Extreme Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 130W Processor - BX80562QX6700
Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 - Core 2 Extreme Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 130W Processor - BX80562QX6700

Pros: This thing is fantastic. Unless you're a showboat, want to gloat, or are doing ridiculous computations for the NASA, you dont really need to get much more powerful than this. Coupled with a decent mobo (which, with a proc. like this, you really should have anyway) you can overclock it far beyond what you really need. For the money its really fantastic. why pay $400 more when you can just oc this to 2.93 or 3.0 GHz?

Cons: Um...I...uh... It gets a little hot maybe? A quad core processor is gonna do that anyway...if you're getting quad core, and you have the type of machine that a processor like this would be in, you should have the sense to have very good cooling.

Overall Review: Make sure to get good cooling in your machine. I have water cooling, and it hasn't gone beyond 50 degrees (C). Honestly, don't bother with the stock fan, get water cooling, and get a good thermal paste to put between the water block and the processor. Here's my specs: Thermaltake Armor (full tower) case, Asus Striker Extreme mobo, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700, MSI GeForce 8800Ultra OC'd, 2x LG 18x SATA dvd burner, Gigabyte Galaxy2 Liquid Cooling, 2 x 2 GB Corsair XMS2, Silverstone ST1000 1000W PSU, Samsung SpinPoint T 500 GB SATA 3.0Gb/s HD

Pros: For starters its SATA, that's a plus right there. No more IDE master/slave speed issues. It's a nice speed, lets me burn full dvd's in no time at all, plays dvd's and games nice, fast and quiet, and hasn't given me any problems whatsoever. The bundled software's pretty spiffy too. I've really made a point of using and abusing it :-)

Cons: It doesn't come in silver to match my pretty case. Oh well.

Overall Review: If you're looking for a good, affordable, fast SATA dvd burner with an added bonus of useful bundled software, go with this. It's a winner :-) My specs: Thermaltake Armor (full tower) case, Asus Striker Extreme mobo, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700, MSI GeForce 8800Ultra OC'd, 2x LG 18x SATA dvd burner, Gigabyte Galaxy2 Liquid Cooling, 2 x 2 GB Corsair XMS2, Silverstone ST1000 1000W PSU, Samsung SpinPoint T 500 GB SATA 3.0Gb/s HD
