8/10 Great Liquid CPU Cooler at it's Price Point

CORSAIR Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition Water / Liquid CPU Cooler 120mm (CW-9060010-WW)
CORSAIR Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition Water / Liquid CPU Cooler 120mm (CW-9060010-WW)

Pros: Was very easy to install. Keeps my I5-2500k under 50c while overclocked to 4.7 ghz. I see a lot of reviews saying that it is loud. I've had mine for 2+ years now and it's still working like it's brand new and I really don't hear the thing run at all. Other reviews mention it doesn't fit their case and bad egg it. It not fitting your case is no real fault of corsairs. It mounts to a standard 120mm fan slot. If your case's side panel is really close to the 120mm slot you mount it to then the cooler will bulge out past the side of the case preventing you from putting the side panel back on. I solved that by mounting mine to the top center 120mm fan port in my case. Corsair can't possibly know the dimensions of every case on the market, so don't fault them for that. Other reviews mention the cooler not fitting their CPU slot and they have socket 1150. They see "Universal Socket Comaptibility" and think it means it fits every socket. That was true when this cooler came out. Socket 1150, 2011, 2011-v3, and 1151 came out after this cooler was made. If you read the description on Universal Socket Compatibility it clearly says: "The Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H55 CPU Cooler features broad compatibility with Intel Socket 1156, 1155 and LGA1366, as well as AMD Socket AM2, AM3 and FM1." So yes, this cooler does not support 1150, or 1151, but it tells you that in the specs/descriptions.

Cons: No real cons, but do keep in mind that the h55 is the baby cooler of the series. If you overclock hard you will not be able to keep your pc on for more than 4 or 5 hours as the radiator on this cooler is not big enough to handle the heat for that long of a continuous period. You will have to power down to let it cool off. If you want a longer endurance cooler step up to the higher models in this series.

Not worth the money

MSI GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card N660-2GD5/OC
MSI GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card N660-2GD5/OC

Pros: -Fast and can run games on max

Cons: -Bad Performance to Value Ratio compared to other cards.

Overall Review: This card for me just isn't worth the money when you can get a 760 that performs 50% better for another $40 bucks. E.g. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500306 Is $249.99 and has the fastest OC of any 760 card on NewEgg and on passmark benchmarks the 760 beats this 660 by over 4000, imo rougly a 50%+ gain.

Great MOBO, minus minor driver issue and sata layout (please read)

ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, 12+2 with Dr. MOS Power Stage, HDMI, DP, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Aura Sync RGB Lighting
ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, 12+2 with Dr. MOS Power Stage, HDMI, DP, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Aura Sync RGB Lighting

Pros: - It looks amazing, and is solid and rigid and has the feel of quality. - Not an RGB fan, but the AURORA effects on this board might be converting me, pretty cool - Two m.2. slots, but worked right through a windows install with no driver issues - OnBoard WiFI (Also a con, read my overall review) - Nice Bios, extremely sensitive mouse though....

Cons: - Didn't come with any screws for posts, the case only came with 6 and two were defective, so I had to steal 2 posts from an older computer. It's never a bad thing to include extra screws customers might need, they should be included with every motherboard imo. - The onboard wifi has initial windows 10 install driver issues, see my overall review for a fix

Overall Review: Overall I am giving this motherboard 4 out of five stars because I was able to work around my issue and overall it's a solid product other than that one issue. So the main issue is that Windows 10 tries to use the wrong driver for the OnBoard wifi when doing the initial installation. The driver it's trying to use is not the right driver and as such causes the windows 10 installation to BSOD and you can't install windows 10.... To work around this, disable the onboard wifi card in the bios. Then install windows. Once installed and in windows, manually download the wifi drivers from the asus support site. Extract that zip to a folder and go in there and install (right click -> install) and INF files you see. These will put the driver files on windows. Then reboot and turn the wifi card back on. Now it should boot properly with wifi enabled and the wifi works great. The issue seems to be that for whatever reason, windows 10 is trying to use an incompatible driver when it auto detects the wifi card during installation. Once you put the correct drivers on the machine, it finds and uses those with no issues.

Great PSU

Rosewill BRONZE Series, RBR1000-MS, 1000W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE, Blue LED Dual-Ball-Bearing Fan, ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black
Rosewill BRONZE Series, RBR1000-MS, 1000W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE, Blue LED Dual-Ball-Bearing Fan, ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black

Pros: I'm only using half the modular options for this pus and I have 8 Sata Devices in use. I have yet to have a single issue with this psu. It is powerfull, and has enough sources for everything in my full tower case and I still have half the cables in the bag.

Cons: None

Really Fast, Reliable

SAMSUNG 830 Series 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) F-MZ-7PC064DAM
SAMSUNG 830 Series 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) F-MZ-7PC064DAM

Pros: I bought two of these an initially used 1 as my OS drive for windows 7 and the other for League of Legends and Guild Wars 2. Now I have an intel 180 gig drive as my main drive. So I took 2 of these Samsung Drives and put them in raid 0.. Wow!! I get 950mb/s in sequential reads with two of these in Raid 0. Load times on maps are so fast it's there is practically no load screen going into wow raids, gw2, or summoning in league of legends.

Cons: None that i've seen. If anything it's that the free batman game coupon didn't work. I download it at least 5 times and it was corrupt every time.

Great memory

Pros: Affordable Fast Reliable Large Capacity

Cons: None

Overall Review: If back in 1995, someone told me "One day you'll be able to get 16 GIGS of 1600 MHZ memory for 64 bucks" I would have recommended them for psychiatric care. But that's exactly what I got on black friday last Novemeber, 16 gig's of ram for $64.99.. Insanely good deal. This memory is fast, I can run two SharePoint 2010 VM's at the same time, while playing BF3 in windowed mode on a second monitor...
