Pros: cheap

Cons: Update to my first review: After my first monitor became unusable due to half the screen constantly flickering, I shipped it back and got a replacement. I was very happy with Hanns-G's customer support. Unfortunately, the product still stinks. My second monitor has the same problems resuming from standby as the first, and now, after about 3 months of use, the screen has become pale and blurry. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. You will NOT save money. If you pay $15 to ship it back -- which you will, at least once -- you're already spending enough that you should get a reputable brand in the first place. Though this monitor has a high overall rating (it is, after all, big and cheap,) the 1 star reviews tell the story -- this model does not resume from standby even when it's "working," and quickly breaks on top of that.

Pros: Big and cheap.

Cons: Poor picture quality. Often doesn't come back from stand-by without unplugging / replugging the cable or restarting the computer (which can be tricky to do without being able to see!) Some parts of the screen are brighter than others. After a few months, the lower left corner started flickering constantly.

Overall Review: I've owned it for a few months and it's already deteriorating (flickering on part of the screen.) On top of that, it wasn't that great to begin with - besides generally not giving a great picture, its tendency to stay in stand-by is a major pain, and judging by the other reviews that seems to be a common problem. Either get something a little smaller or a little more expensive - this monitor is not a bargain.

Pros: relatively quiet

Cons: the cord on this fan is 3 pin only, and on top of that it is SHORT. in my standard ATX case the cords can't reach the connectors on my motherboard from some locations. They are cheap, but whatever you save will be eaten up by buying converters / extentions to get them connected.
