Pros: The sound quality is good and the EQ settings are not bad. I have the 8GB player with a 32GB memory card. The player works great in my car, allowing me to charge and listen to it at the same time. Best part about this: you can upgrade the firmware! I installed Rockbox.org and the player works perfectly. Rockbox adds themes, tons of EQ settings, car mode, as well as support for MP3, FLAC, and other formats.

Cons: The only drawback with the original player and firmware is that if you exceed 5,000 songs, the player has a bit of an issue. SOLUTION: For this, I upgraded the firmware by installing Rockbox. Works without a hitch.

Overall Review: Overall, very satisfied with this player. I replaced an iPod Nano and am glad I did; my iPod purchasing days are over.
