Quality Fan
Pros: 3rd Set I have owned. Have a Very long case life. I run this fan in all my cases. Good blanace of noise / Air movement
Cons: none so far ...
Overall Review: Comes with adapter so do not worry about running out of 3 pin connections on your board
Particles in Fluid
Pros: Koolance Coolant is great.
Cons: This is my second bottle in 3 months that has had the particles floating around in the bottle.
Overall Review: Not sure if particles in the bottle will harm the system or not. Waiting on Koolance to address this issue
ATX will not fit
Pros: Case is very basic and seems it would work for a simple build.
Cons: The Case will not accommodate a standard ATX Board. Using the Supermicro C7X58 (12" x 10") and 0.6 inch is in contact with metal on the case. Causes board to not function. Would be fine for a Micro-ATX but not full size.
Great LGA 1366 Motherboard
Pros: I have used this board in 4x of my server builds. I just got my 5th today and it was defective (but newegg will replace and all will be good again) This board has great features, can use ECC RAM (with xeon cpus) and has every connection you could want. It has proven to be very stable and a good work horse. BIOS options are easy to understand and has all the features you could want.
Cons: No real cons with this motherboard.
Overall Review: I have used this motherboard in servers, my HTPC, and my main workstation. This board is built for stability and reliability, not overclocking.
Great But ...
Pros: I own 8 sets of this memory and have used it exclusively for all my builds. I have never had a bad DIMM or a failure with G.Skill Memory.
Cons: This Memory will not work with SuperMicro X58 / 5500 - 5520 Motherboards. They require Memory @ 1.5 Only. The last DIMM will drop off leaving you with -2GB.
Overall Review: DIMMS work great on INTEL, ASUS & EVGA Motherboards in my house without a single issue for 2 years.
A Great Product from WD
Pros: Ordered 8 for a RAID 5 Array the day after these came out. The First 8 arrived the next day and performed exactly as described. The drives run cooler and quieter then the 640GB AAKS drives they are replacing.
Cons: I have have two that were DOA out of the first 8. One had SMART Errors and the other was really dead. Newegg RMA process was very smooth and the 2 new drives are perfect.
Overall Review: I can state these Drives Work Great on my Dell Perc 5/i. Using 128K Strip and no drop outs from controller.
