Exceptional Performance and Value
Pros: COST- The Vetroo® V5 Black RGB air cooler performs way beyond its price point. QUALITY- The cooler itself, as well as all other included components were of a high quality. EASE OF INSTALLATION - Total installation time for the cooler itself was under half an hour. The only tools required are a phillips type screwdriver, and something to spread the included thermal paste. I used a plastic 6" ruler which was nice and flexible. The instructions which are provided cover both Intel and AMD applications and were very clear. This was the first time I have ever modified my own computer, so first timers can do it too! Removing the GPU gave me plenty of room to work with. There are many helpful videos on Youtube which cover this installation. PERFORMANCE - When I first got my new system running, I installed HWInfo and took note of the thermals. At idle the CPU was ranging from 36-51c. While playing BeamNG, a CPU temperature of 100c was recorded. After the installation of this cooler, and two 120mm fans bringing air into the case the temperature drop was very significant. Idle temps were now in the range of 23-30c. The system seems to hover at 27c now. Under load while again playing BeamNG, the CPU temperature never exceeded 71c. The temperatures on the GPU dropped significantly as well. And it does this magic silently.
Cons: Zero, zip, nada. Well done Vetroo®
Overall Review: If you're looking for a cooler CPU but aren't interested in water cooling, or spending a lot of money, this is the one for you. I also considered the Hyper212 but from what I read the installation on the Vetroo® seemed more straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the installation proceeded. The addressable RGB is bright and easy to manage using your motherboard software. Packaging was excellent and it arrived in great shape. Thanks for reading my entire review, the reward is as follows: For those who don't know already, if you wish to include ®, all you must do is the follwing; hold ALT and enter 0222 You're welcome. Have a pleasant day!
A Great System With A Minor Hiccup
Pros: Great value for the money. I tried to part this out but could not match the price, plus the convenience of it being assembled already made it a no-brainer. Build quality is exceptional. Whatever issues there may have been with case fitment have been resolved. All of the ports were accessible with no noticeable mis-alignment of the case. Wire management was superb. Packing from the manufacturer was excellent. The system arrived double boxed, with plenty of foam securing the system in the manufacturers box. The graphics card was installed in the system and was also adequately supported for shipping. Silence. This system is very quiet. I added two 120mm fans in the top of the case and it barely makes any sound at all. Even when being pushed, the fan noise is minimal if you even notice it at all. Framerates are exceptional. While playing Squad with all details at maximum there was never a noticeable drop in framerate. The same could be said for Beamng.
Cons: Stock cooling for the CPU is inadequate. After a fresh install of windows 10 I immediately installed HWInfo. Temps at idle ranged from 36-51c. While playing Beamng at high settings the CPU peaked at 100c. Not ideal. I run the system with the side panel in place, but removed it for the above photo. That being said I removed it so that the main part of the cooling solution would be visible. I installed a Vetroo V5 Black RGB CPU cooler. For around $30 it was nearly painless and is an incredible value for the performance. I have not had my hands inside a computer since 2003, and swapping out the stock cooler for the V5 could not have been a more straightforward operation. With a good attitude and some patience this is a modification that just about anyone could perform. There are many helpful videos on Youtube which cover this process. In addition to the V5 I added two 120mm fans in the top of the case pulling air into the system. With these modifications my idle temps dropped to a range of 23c - 30c. In game temperatures never rose above 71c. There was also a significant reduction in GPU temperatures. That's it. Nothing else about this system rubbed me wrong.
Overall Review: Dont let the need to change the CPU cooler turn you away. With a little work on your part you will not only have a system that performs very well, but also the satisfaction of having improved upon it yourself. Here is the list of hardware I received as some components will vary from system to system: CPU i11700f GPU Asus Geforce KO 3060 Ti RAM Olay DDR4 3100MHz 16GB (8GBx2) PSU Thermaltake Smart700W I did need to activate XMP mode for the RAM. This is also something very easy to do.
