Love Seasonic PSUs
Pros: i needed a reliable power source for the new system I am about to build. This has a great 12v rail rating, and enough SATA . Nothing less will do. connections for all the hookups
Cons: My only complaint is I haven't got the time right now to start the project, but, I am looking forward to beginning.
Overall Review: I have used Seasonic for over ten years, without so much as a hiccup. Don't mess with the other brands, they'll leave you in a lurch.
1 good,1 no good
Pros: The good drive gave me no issues, and everything went perfect.
Cons: The bad drive was chugging right along until about 75 of the file transfer crashed. The first issue I've had with and HGST Ultrastar HDD.
Overall Review: I would have confidence in recommending these drives to other people. This is the first HGST I've had an issue with. I ran all the HGST utilities and it failed on the SMART extended test. MY only choice is to RMA the defective drive.
Great to go.
Pros: With rare exception do I ever burn with other than Verbatim. I haven't made a coaster in over 1000 burns.
Cons: None that come to mind.
Product and service.
Pros: I have 4 of these units, and can find nothing but praise for the product. I am changing drives from the storage bays to active bays constantly. The only problem I have had was caused by me, and their service department was kind enough to send me the part I needed to effect the repair. These units are real workhorses, as all their products I own.
Cons: If there are any, I haven't found them in 5 years.
Overall Review: If you need a durable unit, that will stand up to constant use, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this item.
This is my first Hitachi since the Deathstar days. So far I have no issues, but I will reserve final judgement until I have a few months of use.
The shipping information was totally a mess. Nobody seemed to know when my package was going to ship, even after it arrived. The product was excellent.
I've only used one of the calipers, and it periodically binds when opening. Shouldn't be doing that!
