Pros: Easy to set up and easy to use. Setting up the speakers with the provided microphone is painless. (With my previous receiver, a Yamaha, it was a nightmare.) I'm only using 3 speakers and the sound quality and sound stage are great.

Cons: My Dish Satellite Remote can turn the unit on but not turn it off because Onkyo uses a "compound" code for power up / power down. I'm not sure the receiver is as musical as my previous Yamaha but ease of use trumps any sound disparity.

Overall Review: Buy an Onkyo for ease of use.
