Great Cooling

Scythe SCASM-1000 120mm Sleeve Andy Samurai Master CPU Cooler
Scythe SCASM-1000 120mm Sleeve Andy Samurai Master CPU Cooler

Pros: used this on a athlon 64 x2 6400+ when i bought it, ran my processor at about 58-62 degrees. Since then I upgraded to the phenom ii x4 940, still keeps my processor within the 62 degree range.

Cons: this thing is BIG, wasn't much of a problem for me, but can be for others.

Overall Review: Give this thing some air to breathe, I actually made a big hole in the side of my case (filtered by an old window screen) to allow it to get proper airflow. if i didn't, then my temps would be at 72-73 degrees.

Good, Not Great

Thermaltake V9 Black Edition ATX Computer Gaming Chassis with Dual Oversized 230mm Ultra-Silent Cooling Fans VJ400G1N2Z Mid Tower
Thermaltake V9 Black Edition ATX Computer Gaming Chassis with Dual Oversized 230mm Ultra-Silent Cooling Fans VJ400G1N2Z Mid Tower

Pros: Great airflow

Cons: the tool less design is nice, but the drive holders are weak, i had to glue the metal pins that held the drives into the plastic locking mechanism, and not but 9 days into my experience, the top and back fans broke, the fins broke off of them on their own.

Overall Review: In my situation, though, I had an extra fan i was able to replace the rear fan with, but because of the tremendous size of the top fan, I'm not able to find a replacement, and i just don't feel like dealing with the manufacturers to get one. The case still works fine, it still kept my computer cool, but be sure to have a backup fan somewhere.

Works as expected

Wireless FM Radio Transmitter Handsfree for Samsung Galaxy S1 S2 S3 S4, S4 Active Note II/2 3, HTC One, Blackberry, Sony Smart Phone, MP3, MP4

Pros: Built in battery, frequency range

Cons: signal is weak

Overall Review: i didn't expect much from this when i got it, but it works as i expected it to, an average device with good features, but the signal is a bit too weak for use in most vehicles.

just not pleased

CM Storm Sirus - True 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset with Control Module
CM Storm Sirus - True 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset with Control Module

Pros: "true" surround sound, they work as described, the control puck is very nice, Build quality.

Cons: the surround sound on these is flawed by the physical position of the speakers, i previously, and still use my turtle beach HPA2 headset, and the positional audio in those has gone unmatched thus far. The "true surround" sounded like virtual surround, and i already have that built into my X-Fi sound cards. The sound quality of this headset is also lacking (im an audiophile, others may be ok with these). The best audio quality i got from these is with the software for the usb setup and using their Music equalizer setting AND tweaks to equalizers in media players. the analog is lacking overall quality in all aspects. My games just didn't sound the same, and because my laptop is lacking surround sound jacks, and the fact that im using an Express-card X-Fi sound card that lacks the analog surround, i didn't have a choice but to use the Puck for surround. I also have an X-Fi Fatality in my Desktop and the HPA2 just destroys this headset in for overall sound quality and true surround positional audio. Even thoguh the Turtle Beach headsets tend to be a bit fragile, i just can't accept how poor the sound from this headset is.

Overall Review: as stated in my cons, i am an audiophile, im very picky about how things sound, especially since my first X-Fi Fatality edition back in 2004. Also, i do realize this headset is not made by a company that solely produces exceptional sound devices as such as Creative and Turtle Beach. These may work out just fine for you, but again, i cannot accept the "poor" quality sound of this headset. Other than that, they worked fine.

Great Card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5830 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100297L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5830 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100297L

Pros: Very powerful card for very little money, definitely worth it to put two of these in crossfire mode.

Cons: only problem i have with this is that the overall performance wasn't that much better than my "toxic HD4870" which also had 1GB GDDR5. but the 4870 didn't have dx11 support, so i mainly purchased it for its features not performance. all in all it wasn't enough of a con to remove an egg for that because it still did perform better regardless.

Overall Review: gonna get another for crossfire mode, then they will perform better than my single "Toxic HD4870".

Not that this matters anymore

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor - HDZ940XCGIBOX
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor - HDZ940XCGIBOX

Pros: Works perfect, no need for overclock but has plenty of headroom, still going strong after more than 2 years of heavy use.

Cons: none

Overall Review: wish the people who gave it a bad review knew how to update their bios to support the chip.
