Excellent Performing Card

XFX GX260NADFF GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
XFX GX260NADFF GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: -Core 216 -55 nm -Very good performance on Folding@Home, really outperforms ATI/AMD cards in the same price segment. -Great game performance. -Free Far Cry 2 Game Included.

Cons: -Card squeal. This is inherently the result of Nvidia's design. (under load, certain electronic components can make a squealing/beeping type of noise. Not due to power supply) -Cost/Performance ratio in games not as good. as some ATI/AMD cards.

Overall Review: This is an excellent all-around card. It runs games very well and Folding@home very well also. However, ATI/AMD's cards are cheaper and perform better in games. Contrary to rumors, this card is actually a 55 nm and a core 216. Apparently XFX still lists this card as 192 cores and 65 nm and tell people this, but they are wrong. Newegg's description is correct. It is a core 216 and a 55 nm card. You can tell either through gpu-z or from the fact there is no backplate.

Excellent Watercooling System.

Swiftech H20-220 Compact CPU Water Cooling Kit
Swiftech H20-220 Compact CPU Water Cooling Kit

Pros: -Excellent Performance that matches many custom watercooling kits. Blows away even the best air cooling setups like the thermalright ultra 120. -On E8400 @ 4.1 ghz and about 1.41 v the difference between idle and load is less than 8 degrees C. with the ultra 120 it was around 20 degrees C. -Can run very quietly while still being effective. The included voltage adapters are extremely useful for this purpose. (12v to 7v and 12v to 5v). At the 7v level the difference between idle and load was around 15 degrees C, while the system was extremely quiet. -Very good price. Most custom setups that perform this well easily cost over 2 hundred. -Pre-assembled kit makes things easy in terms of compatibility, no need to mess around with tubing diameter. Fans also included. Also easier to install because the waterblock and pump are integrated.

Cons: -Apogee Drive Waterblock has a reputation of leaking. Hasn't done so on me yet, but I'm keeping an eye out for them. -No i7 support as far as I know. Try the H20-220 apex ultima in that case, which has the GTZ waterblock. -Not really a con, but a notice: Attempted to use my more powerful 120x38 mm Panaflo Ultra Speed fans for this system. Unfortunately the screws provided were not compatible because if you use any old screw they will punch through the radiator fins. I ordered some new ones and am waiting to try them out.

Overall Review: The guy who asked for the Cool-it system needs to distinguish between the different types of watercooling. There are those watercooling systems that are basically novelty items such as Thermaltake's kits or the Cool-It all-in-one system. They are about as good or slightly better as the top air coolers, and in some cases even worse. Then there are water cooling kits or set ups that are meant to far exceed any air cooling systems in terms of performance/noise and are for extreme overclocking or total silence (like swiftech or zalman). The Cool-It system may cost less than this system, but it is FAR inferior to this swiftech system. It does not compare. The Swiftech is on a whole different level.
