Pros: Works great with my HP62 laptop. This Hitachi is faster and quieter than the original Toshiba drive. And what a great price!! And how does Newegg ship so FAST anyway??

Cons: A "bare drive" is just that. Don't get it unless you are comfortable enough to work without any packaging, directions, CD, mounting screws, etc. You JUST get the drive itself. But it is well packed in bubble wrap in a Newegg cardboard box. And if it is a replacement drive you can reuse the mounting screws and housing from the old failed drive.

Overall Review: When the original Toshiba drive failed in my HP62 I decided to go with something a little faster. The original Toshiba was 5400 RPM and 8Mb cache. This new Hitachi is 7200 RPM with 16Mb cache. and it gets 320Gb on a single platter! This new Hitachi is demonstrably faster and amazingly quiet. It really is a rock solid performer. The swap out with the old Toshiba drive required a standard phillips head screwdriver and about ten minutes. Of course I reused the mounting screws and housing from the old drive. The rest was just loading the OS. I went with Linux Mint which is free and recognized everything on my HP including the camera, the mic, and the multi card reader. Piece of cake.

Pros: I have used previous versions of the BrewStation for several years now, and this latest model is a competent successor to previous versions. It might even take up just a bit less counter space, and it goes great with most kitchen decors (including stainless). Not employing a fragile glass carafe is much appreciated in this design. The addition of the "flavor squirter" is nice. It can be mounted on either side (right or left) or it can be removed entirely. And it works with non refrigerated liquid coffee creamer as well (not just coffee flavors). And the redesign of the view windows (two now and both are larger) is appreciated.

Cons: I do notice a single flaw. My version doesn't appear to have a thermostat to cycle the heater located in the coffee reservoir. I'm not certain whether it's the new design or whether mine is just fault;, but after the pot is brewed, the heater remains turned on until it is turned off manually. This isn't a major problem, but if coffee is left boiling it can become scalded and bitter. And of course this design doesn't allow for bringing a carafe to the table for pouring. You must actually bring your cup to the coffee maker.

Overall Review: I love the design of the BrewStation. I like the fact that it eliminates the fragile glass carafe. I like dispensing at the station. And I even appreciate the appearance of this coffee maker. And for the price, it's well worth the experiment if you are considering the purchase.

Pros: This Linksys switch is simple, fast, and requires a VERY small footprint. The package includes the switch, a small power supply, four self adhesive rubber feet to eliminate desk surface marring, and two screws complete with wall anchors in case wall mounting is preferred. Installation is a breeze, just plug in the power supply and connect your cat 5e cables. The switch is VERY well made with adequate ventilation, a robust metal cabinet and well marked ports. Heat does not appear to be a problem whatsoever. The ports and power connection are all on the rear of the cabinet and the indicator leds are all on the front. This simple and robust switch looks as though it will last for a very long time.

Cons: Honestly tried to come up with a con but failed miserably. This switch is priced right and operation is flawless. Of course, this is networking gear, so who knows ... It could fail tomorrow, but I seriously doubt that.

Overall Review: I used this Linksys switch to replace an old 5 port Dlink switch which was only 10/100. Compared to the old Dlink, this new Linksys is 10/100/1000, in a smaller and more robust metal case. It draws less current and it's cheaper than the older Dlink was when originally purchased. When the Dlink was purchased (about 6 or 8 years ago) it was state of the art, but this newer Linksys just blows it out of the water.

Pros: Quick Newegg shipping and pretty fast read and write, but otherwise unremarkable.

Pros: Easy configuration and excellent coverage for a single band 2.4 ghz router. Reasonable price on sale. Great router for supporting older 802.11 n and legacy g clients.

Cons: The router initially ships with old and buggy firmware version 1.01 and requires immediate update to version 1.04 which is rock solid.

Overall Review: The sale price was excellent and I was looking for an inexpensive single band upgrade from my old Linksys WRT-54G which would support the N standard. This one fit the bill perfectly. Coverage isn't much better than the reliable old Linksys, but I now have four gigabit ports and support for 802.11N. Great!! Just one caution. Be sure to visit the D-Link site to download the latest firmware. You'll need it and unfortunately the "auto update" function doesn't work. This one will do just fine until the new 802,11AC standard is adopted and I move to a dual band AC model.

Pros: Biggest Chromebook screen on the market. Full size island style keyboard. Very fast ... 4gb means even YouTube works well. Great price for a big screen. HP quality.

Cons: Poor battery life. Only about 4 hours. And keyboard is not back-lit.

Overall Review: My only objection to the Chromebook has always been the limited screen size. But HP fixed that with this model. This is a GREAT 14 inch Chromebook! But if you are considering this model, you must understand the limitations of a Chromebook. It isn't a Windows PC. You can't load programs. You can't print to all printers, and you can't do much without connectivity. But if you understand Chromebook and you need a larger 14 inch screen size, then this model is for you. I thought I'd use this for half the time, and my PC for half the time. But as it has turned out, I use this 95% of the time. It is just that quick and practical. If you can do it in the Chrome browser, then you can do it with this Chromebook. I am LOVING it.
