GIGABYTE G27F 27" 144Hz 1080P Height Adjustable Gaming Monitor, 1920 x 1080 IPS Display, 1ms (MPRT) Response Time, 95% DCI-P3, FreeSync Premium, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 1.4, 2x USB 3.0

Pros: Amazing selection of presets and customization A highly adjustable stand. It moves up, down, tilts, swivels. It seems these stands aren't common in budget friendly monitors Comes with multiple different connectors (HDMI, Display Port) and power connectors depending on what part of the world you live in.

Cons: Not really a con, but it does take some tweaking to get the display just how you want it.

Overall Review: I was looking for a nice upgrade from my 5 year old Samsung LED that I also got from Newegg. I didn't realize until recently what a difference there is between TN and IPS displays. Doing research, it seemed easy to get a dud display from Asus or MSI, two other brands I was considering. I've had great luck with Gigabyte motherboards and GPU's, and the displays seem to be a great deal. I've been using this display for several hours and I'm more than impressed. It's perfectly fine for text display and general internet browsing, but it definitely shines with gaming. The blacks are blacker and colors more vibrant. Everything is crisper. It has dedicated settings for playing FPS, RPG/RTS games as well. Super cool. I would by the monitor again in a heartbeat. If the longevity doesn't hold up, I'll update this review.

Price and performance = great bargain

Zalman CNPS 9X Optima CPU Cooler, Ultra Quiet Air Cooler with White LED 120mm Fan, Direct Touch Heat-Pipes, 180W TDP, Pure Copper and Aluminum - Fits Intel and AMD, CNPS9X Optima
Zalman CNPS 9X Optima CPU Cooler, Ultra Quiet Air Cooler with White LED 120mm Fan, Direct Touch Heat-Pipes, 180W TDP, Pure Copper and Aluminum - Fits Intel and AMD, CNPS9X Optima

Pros: Copper pipes, a near silent fan, and decent instructions. Mounts for AMD and Intel

Cons: The fan brackets to attach to the heat sink took a minute to figure out.

Overall Review: Wanted to replace a rainbow-colored Thermaltake nightmare I had on my Ryzen 5 1600 with something a little less flashy, that also featured copper heat spreaders. I had Zalman fans in an older PC and they lasted forever, so I figured I could count on a decent product here. Mounting this on an Asus B450 A/CSM motherboard onto the Ryzen was pretty straightforward. The clips to secure it are a pain as normal. There was a supple amount of thermal grease included and it's doing the trick. I switched out my fan and my case, and I've noticed CPU idle temps have gone down from around 40° celcius to about 30° celcius. I'm not exactly sure if it's more the case or the cooler, but I bet with the beefy heatsink and fan that it's more the fan's doing. I see there aren't many (if any) reviews for this cooler. So if this fits your aesthetic and you need something cheap that should be reliable, go for it. I'd buy it again.

Phanteks Eclipse P400A PH-EC400ATG_DWT01 White Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Rubber grommets...I won't build without them again! Beautiful, powerful fans already hooked up for RGB goodness Solid materials and a spotless tempered glass side panel . Intelligently hidden spare parts in a hard drive compartment

Cons: Could've used better instructions for the fan hookups. Had to do some googling for it. Not enough of a con to subtract an egg

Overall Review: Wanted a Metallicgear Neo Air, but they were sold out at the time. Figured going with something from the parent company of Metallicgear, Phanteks, would be suitable...and this case has more than met my expectations. Plenty of room to work in on either side. Cable management on the back side of the motherboard is NOT my strong suit, but this case has plenty of room to just cram your remaining cables in and not effect closing the case. The case this is replacing for me is an Apevia X-Harmony which I paid about $60 for. The Phanteks is quite an overall upgrade in build quality. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat. Only issue with assembly is hooking all three front case fans up. My motherboard only has two fan headers, so I ordered a splitter. Not Phanteks fault, though...just be sure you have the tools to hook up all these fans. The wires also seem to run a little shorter than I'd like, but again that's more of an issue of my cheap motherboard having less than ideal placement of headers. To sum this up ..if you like the looks of the case, just buy it. You won't regret it.

The fastest USB wifi adapter, bar none

Pros: It's USB. Easy enough. Comes with software. Helpful for those of us who still use physical media. Dual band WIFI.

Cons: none

Overall Review: USB wifi adapters have come a long way. I've used T-Link, Archer, Linksys, and a number of other adapters through the years and none even come close. I work remotely and I have not had a drop in connection at all. I'm about 20 feet from my router. My download speeds have just about doubled over my previous PC's built in wifi. I hardly recommend this adapter.

Cool, quiet, and nice looking!

DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 400 CPU Air Cooler 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan with Blue LED, Multi-platform Intel/AMD CPUs (AM4 Compatible)
DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 400 CPU Air Cooler 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan with Blue LED, Multi-platform Intel/AMD CPUs (AM4 Compatible)

Pros: So quiet, I had to keep checking my CPU to make sure it's actually on! The blue LED lights are bright and beautiful. Sturdy design and fairly easy install...once you figure it out. My CPU (AMD 8320 VIshera 8-core) is running approximately 15-20c cooler since changing out the fan that came with my system. Well worth the price!

Cons: No written instructions, just pictures on the box.

Overall Review: I suggest checking out some youtube videos first if you've never done a replacement, which was the case for me. I overthought the process a bit, but once I figured it out. no problem! Make sure you have a decent size case before purchasing this...it is LARGE!

A nice upgrade to my board!

Link Depot Model UV-ATA24-BU-3 24" ATA133 IDE UV Cable
Link Depot Model UV-ATA24-BU-3 24" ATA133 IDE UV Cable

Pros: Perfect length to connect my two dvd drives to my mother board. I have an NZXT Lexa blackline case and it still gives me plenty of room to maneuver inside. I bought this so I could get a bigger graphics card inside and it does the trick!

Cons: Can't think of any at this point.

Overall Review: I'll never go back to ribbon cables again after using this!
