ASUS CROSSHAIR AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS CROSSHAIR AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This thing is absolutely gorgeous & can take basically whatever you want to throw at it. Mine POSTed right up with my AMD FX-62, not a single problem although I'll probably update the BIOS anyway. Built-in heatsink is great, enough to really be useful but not so much that it gets in the way of anything. The lights are really helpful when setting up & the board won't let you power-on unless you turn the light switch off so you don't have to worry about frying anything. More features than you'll need but all are still useful. Just an absolutely incredible motherboard in every aspect.

Cons: Took me awhile to figure out why I couldn't power-on my system (explained above) because it's not in the manual but is extremely to find on the ASUS website. Not a real "Con" at all, just the worst thing that happened to me.

Overall Review: Please stop giving the board bad reviews because you don't know what your doing or you got a dead board, it's not fair & confuses potential buyers. Dead components happen, it's not cool but it happens, NewEgg will help you through it if you happen to get a bad board & ASUS has a great RMA policy. This board now ships with BIOS ver. 0116 which is compatible with the FX-62 & 5200+. I will never buy a non-ASUS motherboard ever again, 10 eggs!

Absolutely Wonderful.

Archos 502032 8.0" 1024 x 768 80 G9 Turbo Android Tablet Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

Pros: It does what it says on the tin! The screen is very nice and very bright, at home & in the office I am able to have the brightness turned down lower that 50%. Very fast processor & 1GB memory makes for a quick, responsive user experience. The kick-stand is a genius idea and the option for a 3G card is equally awesome. Good battery life that lasts me for a full workday with fairly frequent use ans has enough juice left over that I'm not "worried" about plugging it in the second I get home.

Cons: Well... it doesn't clean up after the dogs or make me coffee in the morning which was a disappointment >.< Seriously though I guess all I could say is the screen is very reflective so it can be distracting in darker movie/TV scenes but every tablet I've ever handled has been similar in that way. Also, and full disclosure, I'm partially deaf in my left ear so don't take this as gospel, I don't think the speaker is too great. It's just the one speaker hole in the back but I didn't subtract any eggs because 1) it's still good enough & 2) I always use headphones so I only noticed when purposely testing it out.

Overall Review: I originally ordered the $99 eLocity A7 & returned it immediately (the thing didn't even have google play, just some cheap knockoff with only a few hundred sub-par apps). In comparison this tablet is 100 times better in every way. I am a photographer so I was planning to purchase the same 1.5ghz version but with the 250GB hard drive (to act as a mobile backup for CF cards during shoots & while traveling) instead of this flash memory version but after doing some research & speaking with a colleague who has the hard drive version the general feeling I got was that it was way slower & that hard disc was a serious bottleneck (meaning it is the slowest part of a computer system so it slows everything down to it's pace, similar to "a team can only run as fast as the slowest man" kind of thing) so I decided to get the $199 8GB flash version instead and I don't regret. Definitely no speed complaints with this model, for sure.

Just Amazing...

AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 - Athlon 64 FX Windsor Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADAFX62IAA6CS

Pros: Incredibly fast & can be easily overclocked to 3.0 on air with no problems at all.

Cons: Doesn't quite match up with Intel's top DualCore but whatever...it's an AMD.

Overall Review: This monster was built to overclock, not pushing this chip will make it cry, I swear, it told me so itself :P

No challenge

EVGA 768-P2-N835-AR GeForce 8800GTX Superclocked 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
EVGA 768-P2-N835-AR GeForce 8800GTX Superclocked 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: Will have to wait for Crysis to be released before you can even make this card break a sweat, it's just disgusting how powerful it is.

Cons: Runs at 62C idle with stock cooling, hard to find a water block that will fit it for some reason, I got a Swiftech MCW60 to fit right after purchasing 3 other blocks, not exactly a card con though plus after running 3DMark06 x 3 it was still only at 65C on air.

Overall Review: If Tomb Raider is lagging then it's your CPU or RAM, not this thing. It's massive so make sure you have room. My rig = AMD FX-62 @ 3.1GHz, 4GB Patriot DDR2 LL, X-Fi XtremeGamer, Zalman Reserator Water Cooling, eVga 8800GTX, 2x 250GB Seagate Barracuda's (0). 3DMark06 10,200. Your CPU will most likely bottleneck this so if you have performance problems don't blame the card.

High Quality, Easy Build

ZALMAN ZM – Reserator2 Fanless water cooling system
ZALMAN ZM – Reserator2 Fanless water cooling system

Pros: Thick tubing, easy setup (long but simple), keeps everything super cool.

Cons: VGA block didn't fit but that's my fault really. Water pump isn't all that mighty but good enough to do it's job.

Overall Review: As was already said, the manual doesn't stress getting the air bubbles out enough, if there's air in your system it will leave your CPU partially uncooled which is obviously not good.

Good Stuff

Patriot Extreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PDC22G6400ELK

Pros: Very fast & stable. Of course easy to install, but it's RAM.

Cons: nada

Overall Review: I won't buy anything but Patriot now.
