Great ram!

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model 997015
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model 997015

Pros: Rock stable at XMP 10-11-10-28 1T 1.5v 2133. Low profile heatspreaders. Was able to tighten timings to 9-11-10-27 1T @ 1.65v 2133.

Cons: None - great ram that does what it claims.

Overall Review: Currently same or near same price as the G.skill F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM kit which is XMP 9-11-10-28 2T but will run at 1T. G.Skill XMP is CL9 not CL10 as this ram is. Don't believe the reviews below for 9-10-9-27 @ 1.6v. Either the IC's changed or binning got tighter. My brand new kit can only do 9-11-10-27 1T @ 1.65v.

Updated the firmware, no more Apple connectivity problems!

Amped Wireless AP300 High Power Wireless-300N Smart Access Point

Pros: Eggcellent range, instant connectivity, no more problems with Apple iPads wifi recognition anymore after firmware upgrade.

Cons: Need to upgrade to Firmware Version v1.2e.03 to make it an eggcellent product - see other thoughts below:

Overall Review: When I first got this product for a home single wifi Access Point months ago I almost threw it in the trash can. Microsoft or Intel products would connect just fine but it would take minutes for any iPads to connect to it's wifi. However, after upgrading the firmware that specifically addressed Apple connectivity issues, this item now rocks! Range is great! As an afterthought I would set the channel to 11 as pretty much all your neighbor's 2.4ghz channels default to 6.

ddr3 2133!

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH

Pros: 6-8-6-24 1T DDR3 1600 @ 1.5v 7-9-7-24 1T DDR3 1866 @ 1.5v 9-10-9-28 1T DDR3 2133 @ 1.5v 7-10-8-27 1T DDR3 2133 @ 1.6v linx/Prime95 x64 stable!

Cons: None!

Overall Review: This ram and the Samsung 30nm DDR3 1600 1.35v 2x4gb ram are by far the best budget overclockers! For the review and screenshots just google: F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH DDR3 2133 It'll be the xtreme systems post.

SAMSUNG 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Desktop Memory Model MV-3V4G3D/US

Pros: This is a followup review after 1-2 weeks of testing. 10-10-10-28 1T DDR3 2133 @ 1.5v 9-10-10-28 1T DDR3 2133 @ 1.6v linX and Prime95 x64 2 hours stable using all available ram on Windows 7 (6.7gb or so...)

Cons: Price went down $1 less than a week after i bought it, LOL. Shipped from NJ and took longer to get here than from CA.

Overall Review: For screenshots of the above testing google: techpowerup samsung 30nm ddr3 1600 This has to be the best budget overclocking ram since the G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH 6-8-6-24 1.5v that does 7-10-8-27 1T DDR3 2133 @ 1.6v stable!

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH

Pros: RAM runs perfectly at XMP profile 1.5v. Read somewhere this ram was capable of 9-10-9-28 2N 2133. Passed 20 rounds of linX 7-10-8-27 1T 2133mhz @ 1.65v with an i7-2600k @ 4.9ghz.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: AIDA64 (formerly Everest) read/write/copy and latency scores improved with higher frequency. CAS 6 is nice but just goes to show how higher frequency beats CAS for memory performance.

Great once bugs addressed...

ASUS P8P67 LGA 1155 Intel P67 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P8P67 LGA 1155 Intel P67 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Solid fast booting board with UEFI bios. With bios (can update within UEFI utility) 1053 Internal PLL Overvoltage: Enabled turns into an overclocking beast - running an i7-2600k 4.9ghz linX stable on high end air!!!

Cons: First board came DOA - however the Egg quickly RMA'ed a new one - Kudos to the Egg. A decent number of these boards (mine included) had a cold boot issue - This can be fixed by the CLEAR RTC RAM jumper process and enabling wakeup from PCI-E.

Overall Review: I would like to commend Newegg for it's great customer service and making me happy with this purchase.
