Good But Not Perfect

ASRock B650I LIGHTNING WIFI AM5 Ryzen 7000 AMD B650 SATA 6Gb/s Mini-ITX s DDR5 7200+ (OC) 2.5G LAN x WiFi 6E + Bluetooth Motherboards - AMD

Pros: Rock solid stable OOTB. Worked with non-QVL G.Skill Flare X5 6000MHz CL30 RAM OOTB Has all of the storage and front panel I/O I could reasonably ask of an ITX form factor (there are ITX boards with 3 M.2 slots, but 2 for a non-flagship is perfectly good)

Cons: Some Front-Panel I/O is at the far left side of the board when it doesn't have to be, causing some less-than-ideal cable run. We're at the stage we can just make all of the motherboard USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and below headers be the Type-C style and subtract pins for various older generations. Adapters for the legacy header style exist. Had they stacked the SATA ports on a right angle, there'd at least be enough room to move the USB 2 header over to the right side after making some other headers rotate. If the 3.1 and 2.0 headers were replaced by C headers, all of the ARGB headers could fit in the lower right side too, and there'd no longer be stiff connector interference with top-mounted radiators (I have the Fractal Define 7 Mini). Also, the Clear CMOS should be a button on the rear I/O plate.

Overall Review: If I could give 4.5 out of 5, I would. This board is not a 5 purely because of some less-than-ideal design choices on the board headers and locations.
