Most Favorable Review

It is what it is...

SYBA PCI to Parallel Port Controller Card Model SD-PCI-1P
SYBA PCI to Parallel Port Controller Card Model SD-PCI-1P

Pros: It allowed a new Dell Vostro 200 to print to a very old HP 4p printer. Worked great.

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: It was cheap, even the freight was more than the item.

Somegood, some bad

JetWay H17-ATSC110 IVOGUE Digital/Analog HDTV turner
JetWay H17-ATSC110 IVOGUE Digital/Analog HDTV turner

Pros: I have not had any problems watching TV or recording to MPEG from my VCR. Good Picture on both although I have yet to try HDTV. The bundled software is OK but I wish there were alternatives listed.

Cons: Support for this card is non-existant on jetwaycomputer.com and ivogue.com.tw. There is no mention of this card. I was hoping to obtain updated drivers for XP64 and Vista RC1 but no dice. Also the documentation is horrible. There is a single page about the hardware that needs to be viewed with a magnifying glass. There is no mention on how to use the FM tuner.

Overall Review: Help!

The worst USB flash drive I've ever used

TEAMGROUP C175 128GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive Rounded Streamlined Unibody Design Black Pearl Seamless Construction Matte and Glossy Finish, Speed Up to 100MB/s (TC1753128GB01)
TEAMGROUP C175 128GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive Rounded Streamlined Unibody Design Black Pearl Seamless Construction Matte and Glossy Finish, Speed Up to 100MB/s (TC1753128GB01)

Pros: Rather inexpensive for the capacity.

Cons: Data becomes repeatedly corrupted! If I copy files to this drive, on one computer it will fail and want to be formatted when I attempt to read on another computer. It only works if I keep it on one computer and never extract the drive from the USB port. I originally used this drive as the install media for Windows 11 and I would repeatedly receive read errors during the installation.

Overall Review: I have used SSD drives from TeamGroup in the past and have never experienced any issues. I'm really surprised this USB flash drive turned out to be so awful.

Nice...

Kingston 2GB MicroSD Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Model SDC/2GB
Kingston 2GB MicroSD Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Model SDC/2GB

Pros: I purchased for my phone so that I could store more data and pictures. Since my PC has a media reader, I can easily tranfer data without having to go through the Bluetooth method as I did before. You also get the equivalent of a 2GB USB flash drive, smallest I have ever seen, with the keychain reader.

Cons: Newegg no longer has free shipping on this item and I can't buy more than 2 at a time!

Second times the charm...

Western Digital RE2 WD7500AYYS 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital RE2 WD7500AYYS 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: I bought one to use as an external eSATA backup drive. It neither gets to hot nor makes much noise.

Cons: The first one arrived DOA and had to RAM. It happens to the best of us.

Good fax and copier

HP Officejet 6310 Q8061A Up to 30 ppm Black Print Speed Up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi Color Print Quality Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer
HP Officejet 6310 Q8061A Up to 30 ppm Black Print Speed Up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi Color Print Quality Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Pros: Works great as a fax machine and a copier. I really do not use it to print as I have another printer better suited for that purpose.

Cons: As some have mentioned, the software is very bloated and on Vista, my install would crash at 95% installed. If I cancelled at that point it would undo all it had installed. HP support had no clue as to what the problem was. I then thought to let the install go to 95% and then KILL the process from the Task Manager. That allowed me to keep the drivers installed and everything has been ok since.

Overall Review: The auto update feature will drive you nuts. I recommend removing it from your startup.
