Silent it is!

Pros: Very quiet, the larger size moves more air more efficiently at lower RPMs
Cons: none

Pros: Large fan, runs very quiet. Sleeving on cables is nice but could cover more of the cable.
Cons: Cables are very stiff and some bending is needed to get the SATA power cables to fit correctly in tight cases/drive bay situations.
Nice tablet

Pros: Screen is nice and readable, responsive for its resolution. I was worried buying a lower res 10.1 tablet I would not like the degradation in sharpness but it works very well. My other choice was a Samsung tablet but it was almost $150 more so I went for price. The knock on/off is very handy - I didn't think I'd like it but it works well.
Cons: Slow charging even with standalone charger Some Jerkiness with HD video/mpeg artifacting, but not much. Contrast is ok, with very dark video you'd want to bump up the brightness a lot. The back of the case feels rubbery and sticky. I added a slip sleeve type case to it to avoid this. Speakers in the back limit volume more than I'd like.
Better than stock TV speakers

Pros: Sounds a lot better than the speaker rattle from the TV
Cons: No optical cable included Does not remember last volume on power up Powers off with TV
Overall Review: A minor annoyance to turn the volume back up on power up.
Drives run 5-9°C cooler

Pros: Very short with nice locking mechanism. Because of the short length, airflow was less obstructed in my NAS build and the drive temperatures dropped between 5-9°. You can twist them nicely if you need to and they are very well made.
Cons: They are very short, but all of them reached just fine.
I love this case!

Pros: Roomy, nice cable management, QUIET. Stylish.
Cons: MB plate very tight against back of case Only one LED
Overall Review: Great deal when on promo, very well made, this is the blackout model which I assume is why the bracketry is black instead of white (this is the 2nd R4 case I've bought, they are the same other than the bracket colors). I like the white brackets a bit better, but since there's no window, etc. on the case and it's merely being used as a nas4free backup device, it doesn't really matter. I would buy another one of these cases if I needed. They are wide, though. The sheer # of 140mm fans you can install (7) is nice if you need that much cooling - I have an additional one in the front to cool the drives.
