Great printer overall.
Pros: - Great photos - Underneath paper trays, paper doesn't get dusty - Once setup, the wireless works flawlessly even through router reboots and power failures! - Prints on dvd's, cd's, and bluray's if you buy inkjet printable media - Easy to find cheap ink for these things!! CHEAP! - Has never jammed or otherwise malfunctioned through 8 sets of ink so far
Cons: - Initial setup, the setup utility is terrible and if you plug the printer in before starting the setup it won't work right - Linux support, although this works on linux I haven't been able to get it to print borderless photos (works fine in windows) - Pretty loud while printing
Overall Review: Ran into a problem at first as I had already plugged in the printer. After this though and it is on wifi, future printer driver installs are smooth over the network. I buy ink for this thing amazingly cheap off an auction which shall not be named, this is a huge positive!! I have pictures I printed 2 years ago that show no signs of fading! This printer works awesomely and just keeps working, and even works great with the Android app too! One of my favorite printers I've owned, and at a great price point!
Almost great...
Pros: - Looks cool (and has multiple colors!) - 4000 dpi - Nice rubbery feel
Cons: - Scroll wheel doesn't work right (explained below) This mouse would be great if the scroll wheel worked. Whenever I try to scroll with it, it seems to scroll about a page the opposite direction about 50% of the time. I have emailed Utechsmart about this with no response whatsoever. Would be nice to get a response from them, but at this point I've basically given up on it.
Overall Review: All in all i took 2 eggs off for the scroll wheel destroying my ease of use while browsing the web. The other egg I removed because the DPI settings and colors are directly linked, so while changing DPI you are also changing colors which is annoying if you want 1 color all the time.
Good Cable
Pros: Works perfectly.
Cons: None, cable is perfectly assembled.
Overall Review: I've had this cable in use for almost a year now and it still works great. The connector housings are molded which means its very strong and also it can't be taken apart. Thumbscrews are not loose or falling out, pins are tight and unbent. I'd buy these cables again.
Looks great!
Pros: -padded i/o panel -fancy lights on board -plenty of sata -great bios
Cons: -Ram issues since day 1 (see other thoughts) -Asus support is by far the worst part about buying any of their stuff
Overall Review: I couldn't get the ram to run any faster than 1600mhz no matter what I tried. I am very experienced in IT work but not much for overclocking and custom ram timings. I read all the forums and guides and no matter what never got the ram to work right. Paired with A10-7850k and G.Skill 1866mhz ram (4x4gb). Tried everything G.Skill support could come up with. Board runs ram at rated speeds fine using default o.c. profile when only 2 were installed. Contacted Asus support is by far one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. Support personnel can barely speak english, after waiting on hold for well over an hour. They had absolutely not a single suggestion to attempt to fix the problem, and referred me to newegg to return the product. Having had to deal with Asus now on several occasions I will never buy any of their products again, solely based on terrible customer support.
good product
Pros: All of the pins in the 4-pin mini-fit jr. connector (aka molex) came tight and not flimsy. Wires are not loosely connected to the connectors. Has worked as advertised since the day I got it.
Cons: no cons.
good cables
Pros: Good thick cable, low price!
Cons: Not braided or anything fancy
Overall Review: Works as it should.
