3ware RAID Detect Problem/Solution

Pros: Good warranty support, nice quiet drive, surprisingly doesn't get too hot.
Cons: Some problems when trying to use then with a 3ware SATA RAID controller. You will need to get a firmware update on the drive from Seagate, as well as if you use them on a SATA1.5, you WILL need to find jumpers and change the drive from SATA3.0Gb to 1.5Gb with instructions on the seagate site.
RAID5 NOT SUPPORTED, POOR ASUS SUPPORT

Pros: -Small motherboard -Decent documentation -Inexpensive
Cons: -RAID5 function advertised not supported, add on to manual states not to use RAID5 function. -No one at Asus could explain why or what that means -RAID5 is configurable, but utility is poor, no notification of failure, and CPU usage becomes very high -Graphics memory shared w/ system -Useless PCI Express slot positioned where most riser cards go.
