Works with 9800X3d

MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI AM5 ATX Gaming Motherboard, 4x SATA 6Gb/s, AMD Wi-Fi 7,USB 4.0
MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI AM5 ATX Gaming Motherboard, 4x SATA 6Gb/s, AMD Wi-Fi 7,USB 4.0

Pros: It recognized my 9800x3d right out of the box. It runs my pair of DDR5 6000 ram on EXPO settings with no issue. The built-in WIFI is stellar as compared to a USB wifi adapter I was using on my old rig. It connects to my wireless network waking up from sleep before I can even pull up the start bar to check.

Overall Review: This mobo has all the connectors (NVME, USB, etc) that I will ever need. I bought it specifically to go with a newly purchased 9800X3d as I was upgrading from a B550 mobo (also from MSI) and a 5600X. It booted and posted the first time with the bios that shipped with the mobo. Installation was mostly a breeze but I felt like I was going to break the CPU when engaging the metal arm that secures the CPU bracket. So far, so good.

Great frames on a 4K

PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Graphics Card RX7900XTX 24G-L/OC
PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Graphics Card RX7900XTX 24G-L/OC

Pros: Runs whatever I can throw at it.

Cons: The fans are definitely the loudest thing in my rig when this bad boy is running hard.

Overall Review: It's definitely a pay-to-play world at the high-end and I didn't want to pay up for the 4090 or 4080 from Nvidia so I purchased this card instead. The only time I've noticed coil whine is during some graphics benchmarking.

Meets my needs

PowerColor Fighter Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Graphics Card 6600XT 8GBD6-3DH
PowerColor Fighter Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Graphics Card 6600XT 8GBD6-3DH

Pros: Fast. Relatively quiet.

Cons: Runs a bit hot.

Overall Review: This card does what I need it to. I am very pleased with it. It does seem to run a little hot and it's fans blow, but the sound is easily overwhelmed by my pc speakers. Too bad the current GPU pricing situation exists, but one must pay to play. It's still worth it.
