Coil whine
Pros: Great performance out of the box Cool GPU temp at around 60C using the gaming BIOS profile (on by default out of the box) Axial fan very silent, radiator fans around 35-40Db during gaming RGB minimal but looks good Brush metal gives the card premium feel and look Only around 2% performance loss if caping power to 70%, and about 100W of power saving and 5C cooler GPU temps vs default setting
Cons: -Coil Whine if using >80% of power, very noticeable. However, reduced and inaudible if power limit set to <80% in afterburner -Higher then other brands Vram temps but within spec
Overall Review: - Good option if looking for AIO cooled GPU
Died after 1 yr and 8 months
Pros: Fast, V-cash
Cons: Unreliable
Overall Review: For the original asking price on launch, I think its unacceptable that the processor died with regular use - over the past year it was mostly gaming. Few months back noticed random oddities - random usb ports would stop responding, POST taking longer after cold boot. Eventually, one day while trying to browse, the PC rebooted, then just shut down. Would not POST. Initially thought it was motherboard that died, but after several hours of going through each component (GPU, PSU, RAM, AIO, CMOS) found it was the CPU, as swapping to another POST and loaded windows just fine. Going on line I saw that others had similar issues with this particular CPU dying randomly. Contacted AMD support for RMA, will see what happens. But now Im without a working PC
works for me
Pros: One card that performs a bit better than my two HD 6950 in CF. Stay's below 60C when playing, and my case is not very well ventilated (GPU fan never > than 50% while using fan curve through EVGA Precision) Easy installation, no hassle
Cons: Cheap plastic. Evga could have used more of a quality plastic material for building this card. Otherwise feels like a boot leg copy GPU to be honest. Low pitch sound from GPU fan when speed above 44%
Overall Review: Bought it on release date through newegg. Have been playing and using my desktop for two days with new card - didnt get any problems so far. Played/-ing Company of heroes, Dota 2, Blacklight Retribution and recently Diablo 3 - works with no artifacts or BSOD. So I guess there is a faulty bunch of GTX 670 out there, so you might or might not get one
Great 1866 Mhz Memory Set
Pros: My second set - great performance, no trouble so far. Highly recommend!
Cons: Non
Great Gaming Mouse
Pros: Great cursor precision & build quality - these were my main points when I was looking for a mouse. And Logitech 9x delivers and adds great customization options for this price.
Cons: A bit small for my palm grip, but still comfortable for my use.
Great memory for Toshiba x505-Q860
Pros: Easy to install, and works great in Toshiba x505-Q860. Had 4 GB of DDR3 1066 and windows score was 5,8. After installing these, the score went up to 6.7 - also noticeable increase in performance.
Cons: None so far
