Great buy!

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B

Pros: Installed on a new ASUS M4A785-M/ AMD Athlon II x2 3.0GHz combo purchased here at Newegg without even blinking an eye. Very impressive system! Very fast!!! Would highly recommend this product. I have G.SKILL in three different projects of my own and have had zero problems! If more people would research more before they purchased there components I'm sure there wouldn't be any bad reviews on G.SKILL, this RAM is great!

Cons: NONE. If it were a little less expensive would have made it even better, but you get what you pay for.

Overall Review: As mentioned above, I believe most people don't research there needs enough before there purchase. I'm definitely no guru here, all I did was research recommended RAM at mobo web site (ASUS) and everything works like a charm. Been running this brand for 2 years now and for the price I don't think you can beat it! Running Win 7 x64 with lighting speed for a few months now with my 2 year old ASUS A8V-XE and AMD Athlon 64 x2 set up which I also purchased at Newegg and couldn't be happier! I've also installed this brand in several costumers PC's and have never heard of, or experienced any problems.

Save your money!

RAIDMAX Hurricane ATX-248WB Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
RAIDMAX Hurricane ATX-248WB Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Low price = (low quality in this case). Did save cost of buying fans, not an advantage here. Does have good looks and functional placement of USB and audio ports, only plus IMO. The name says it all, you have a lot of noise and temps that leave a lot to be desired! This was in a research/email home work PC, gaming would be out of the question. CPU hits 40 C with just a AVG scan after just 7 minutes.

Cons: Very poor air flow. Very noisy side fan (hence the name Hurricane). Front benzel has six screws retaining it instead of clips and makes it a pain the rear when it's time to clean case out. The front cover does have a form filter inside it but between the benzel using screws to retain it (can only access filter by removing benzel) and the very obvious poor engineering of the rear fan mount which has to have a 3/4" plastic spacer to adapt the fan to clear the mother board outputs which makes a good rear exhaust nearly impossible I find this case to be exactly what you'd expect for the price! Tried several different fan combination's with very poor results. Rear fan simply can't work properly when spaced 3/4" away from the rear panel of the case! Ended up replacing 80mm fan with a 120mm fan in front and moved the cheap LED fan in the side cover. See other thoughts.

Overall Review: Used this case for a nice budget build including a ASUS M4A785-M along with a AMD 65watt Athlon II Dual Core. I have used this Mobo/CPU with a Thermaltake 430 watt PCU in other builds and temps have always run 29-30 C for both mobo and cpu. But in this case cpu runs close to that (32-33 C) but mobo is always at 36 C or higher and is always higher than cpu temperature by 5 degrees even at idle. I also learned there's no way to NOT run a side fan without drastically increasing mobo temp which means you'll have a noisy set up that's always playing catch up. I do realize these temps are not a problem but no matter what I've tried for fan combos there's no way to have nice temps without all the noise and even with the noise, the temp control is very minimal. I've installed this very same mobo, CPU and PSU in an eight yr old case that only has 3-80mm fans (2 in front and 1 in rear) and both temps run a constant 29-30 C at all times. Can't recommend this product at all !!!!!

Running GREAT on X370 Crosshare VI Hero with Gen 3

G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C14Q-32GTZNA
G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C14Q-32GTZNA

Pros: Manually entered timings at 3600MHz, no problems runs real well. Manually entered timings for 3733MHz, no problems runs even better. Manually entered 3800MHz/1900FCLK with one small bump of VDimm and a little tweaking to obtain 14-15-14-28-40-256 @1.46v set in Bios and VERY stable (see attachments). Now runs simply amazing! This is now my everyday driver to OC from. Now matched with a 5900x sure brought a ton of life/fun back to the ole x370 chipset. It'll keep me happy till Gen 4 matures a bit.

Cons: In my 12+ years of buying memory kits for personal and client use it's always been GSkill and thus far I've never had any cons!

Overall Review: I wanted to upgrade a 16GB C14 FlareX kit to a 32GB kit on my C6H. Also wanted a kit that would OC as nicely as the FlareX . I was also wanting to see how a 4 Dimm kit would perform vs the previous 2 Dimm kit. Couldn't be happier with F4-3600C14Q-32GTZNA Memory still has headroom from current settings but takes more time/tweaking from this point than I have time for currently. Yes it does boot at 4000MHz/2000FCLK c16 but WHEA persist (not actual memory related) and this is where I left off until more time for testing is available. A great set of C14 Samsung B-Die which is getting harder to find as supplies run out.

Couldn't ask for more!

APC BR1500G Back-UPS Pro 1500 VA 10 outlets Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
APC BR1500G Back-UPS Pro 1500 VA 10 outlets Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

Pros: I've owned this BR1500 Pro since 2-20-14 and have had zero issues period. (posting 1-30-18) It has saved my systems multiple times. I'm outside of town and occasionally have to run a generator due to bad weather, car accident etc. I also have underground wiring coming from the pole at the street into my home. Underground wiring is known to have issues. I've had mine replaced twice in 16yrs. It starts with brownouts, very small at first and just gets worse over time sometimes hard to notice. For me it's a never ending battle with the power company. I run both a Plex Media Server (FX6350, 24/7, 85-100w at wall) and my main addiction overclocking rig (Wc'd FX9590 @ 5117MHz 24 hr Prime95 stable) on one of these. The media sever gets all the benefits of the "auto shut down" saving all my data/video while my main rig gets the very much needed "Clean" power that is required to enjoy my addiction (overclocking). I also encode video on the main rig for hours (reason for OCing) and with it working at full load plus the server also encoding I have had the 1500 display report 865w - 867w at one point. Yup, it does what it claims just fine. A normal busy night would run 780w to 834w for 3 - 4 hrs. Server alone pulls 85 - 87w 24/7 normally. After almost 4 years I like this one so much I didn't hesitate to purchase a APC 850 for the new 65"/sound bar setup! I highly recommend this model for clean power and longevity.

Cons: None here!

Daily driver at 3466MHz

G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) AMD X370 / B350 Memory (Desktop Memory) Model F4-3200C14D-16GFX
G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) AMD X370 / B350 Memory (Desktop Memory) Model F4-3200C14D-16GFX

Pros: 3200MHz right out of the box on 2 different systems with C6H, plug and play and very stable using "The Stilts" Safe 3200MHz timing preset in Bios 9920 and above. For the past 4 months my main rig is running 3466MHz 14-13-13-26-44-1T @ 1.42v (HCI Memtest 1600%) with a 1800x @ 3925MHz OC. AIDA64 Cache & Mem Benchmark Read - 54725MB/s, Write - 53849MB/s, Copy - 50178MB/s, Latency 68.7ns in Bios 9920- 3101. It's these or the GSkill F4-3200C14D-16GTZR if you need/want the lights for easy setup and outstanding performance. Do your research before purchasing memory for Ryzen as it will save you a great deal of pain and agony. Hopefully this may help a few others before they end up with low quality Hynix ICs. Samsung B-Die, Single Side, Single Rank is what you want for a trouble free/easy system which these are.

Cons: With GSkill there are no cons, seriously.

Great Upgrade for a HP 6570b

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-8GRSL
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-8GRSL

Pros: Typical G.Skill quality and performance! Recognized by bios running advertised specs without any issues. Passed 1 hr of HCI Memtest running 96% memory load across four instances (250%). Replaced the factory 1x4GB stick of cas 11 1.35v with this 2x4GB cas 9 1.35v kit. In Windows 10 Pro x64 memory usage dropped from mid, to upper 40% with only one tab open in Firefox to a nice stable 23% with six tabs open. Could have opened many more and not noticed a thing. Next, a budget SSD (also from Newegg) was added and now this 6570b will be around for a long time to come. It simply flies!

Cons: Not a con but an observation. When shopping for Laptop memory if you use the Newegg Memory Finder you won't find this kit, or any G.Skill memory listed for a HP 6570b. If you use the G.Skill Ram Configurator you can only search by mobo which doesn't reliably help the novice with a laptop. If I wanted to sell my product I would make it easy to find for all systems (G.Skill), and cover most all the brands I carry (Newegg). I have to wonder if I'm the only one who notices this. Fortunately I know how to choose/locate memory. I think if this shopping process was upgraded there would be fewer negative reviews by consumers making an uneducated purchase than placing blame on the manufacture.

Overall Review: I have recommended both Newegg and G.Skill for many years and will continue to do so. Never had any issues with either. In the past 10 years I can only remember RMAing one memory kit with G.Skill and it was completely painless. (well over 30 kits)

Great place and Quality product!

I highly recommend CableMod to anyone in need of lighting or cables. When the term "custom" comes in to play this is the place to go. Customer support is excellent and very helpful if you have questions. I've made several purchases and never any issues. There latest Magnetic RGB LED strips are a perfect match for the Asus C6H and truly stay where you put them. I ended up using a defuser (simple side shield) to gain the affect I was after. It's not that the lights where too bright (their perfect, both color and hue). They worked perfectly for what I wanted. The only limits would be ones own imagination. I'm be a returning customer, no question!
