Good ITX case

Antec ISK 300-65 Black Steel Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case 65W Power Supply
Antec ISK 300-65 Black Steel Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case 65W Power Supply

Pros: -Build Quality -Ventilation -Power supply supplied

Cons: -Front door is a little quirky and cumbersome

Overall Review: Best case for an ITX computer. However, I would go the micro-atx route over doing this again.

Decent budget board

ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD A50M Hudson M1 Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo
ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD A50M Hudson M1 Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo

Pros: -Cheap price

Cons: -Cheap components

Overall Review: Decent entry level board had some quirks when installing and getting the bios to recognize hardware. The board isn't terrible but if you simply spend another $20 you can go with either ASUS or Gigabyte brands and get a much higher quality board and components. Also, I would steer away from ITX solutions an go with micro-atx.

Super value!

Perfect HTPC

Antec Black Aluminum / Steel Fusion Remote Black Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Antec Black Aluminum / Steel Fusion Remote Black Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: -Build Quality -Layout -Ventilation -Features

Cons: -Contrast of LCD -Only 2 hard drive slots

Overall Review: Prior to building this HTPC I had built several for other friends and several since. Prior to this I had always used my gaming rig as my HTPC but after redoing my living room my other half decided that we needed something to blend in. When looking for a case to build my HTPC, I wanted something that looked nearly identical to my audio receiver so it would blend. This case provided that! I've built approximately 20-25 HTPC for co-workers, friends and family. I've dealt with many different budgets and used many different cases. This was BY FAR the most pleasurable case I've worked with. The only negative things I can say about this case is the LCD on the front is very hard to read unless you're at the precises angle needed to view it. The other is that there are only 2 hard drive expansion bays. Since this is a HTPC case and the the use for it is HTPC, I wish they would make it so that you can fit more HD's for mass storage. Overall this case is A+ but I'd buy without the LCD

Quiet, Cool & Efficient

PC Power & Cooling ModXStream Pro Series 500 Watt 80+ Semi-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ500MXSP)
PC Power & Cooling ModXStream Pro Series 500 Watt 80+ Semi-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ500MXSP)

Pros: -Quiet -Thermally Efficient -Quality components

Cons: -Cord lengths

Overall Review: Used in a build with my HTPC, which also doubled for big screen gaming. I used it to power a nVidia GTX 460 1GB version and it did a marvelous job! I needed a power supply that could deliver good power but be quiet so that during blu-ray play back the noise level would remain low. It's a great power supply for HTPC's! I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a good power supply that needs to be efficient and quiet.
