Good processor

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 - Core 2 Duo Allendale Dual-Core 2.2 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E4500
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 - Core 2 Duo Allendale Dual-Core 2.2 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E4500

Pros: Great performance for the money. With this processor, a Gigabyte P35-DS3R and an AC Freezer 7 Pro, I was able to take this to an easy 3.2ghz on stock voltage. With more voltage and better cooling I could go further (It has posted at 3.6ghz) but why bother? This processor is a great value.

Cons: This processor is advertised as having Intel Virtualization Technology, which it does not. Had I known this, I would have gotten a low end E6xxx series as I need Intel VT for development purposes. This does not make the processor less of a value, but should serve as fair warning to always check the manufacturers site to confirm the specifications.

Overall Review: If you're looking for a low end C2D processor and have no need for VT, I strongly recommend this processor for its low cost and ease of overclocking due to the higher multiplier.

Most Critical Review

This thing is a steaming pile of excrement

LEXMARK X2500 21A0500 22 ppm Black Print Speed Up to 4800 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality USB InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer
LEXMARK X2500 21A0500 22 ppm Black Print Speed Up to 4800 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality USB InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Pros: It prints sometimes, and the scanner works okay. It made me feel good when I took it out to the range and unloaded on it with an M1 Garand.

Cons: This printer is a money pit and should be avoided at all costs. My printer did not come with the USB cable necessary to hook it up. The box does state that it may or may not come with the cable, in very fine print that I only noticed after bringing it home. To use it you will be forced to install the bloated, annoying and intrusive Lexmark spyware. If the software cannot phone home to Lexmark, your printer will not work. The printer burns through ink obscenely fast, even if you print everything in draft mode (a setting you must change every time you print, since it cannot be set as the default.) When the ink runs out, it will annoy you with a pop up every time you print that will stop the printing process and try to get you to buy ink from Lexmark. There is no way to disable this nagging.

Overall Review: When this printer prints in black and white, it will use both cartridges unless you specify not to. This eats up the more expensive color cartridges quickly. You cannot set a default print mode that will avoid doing this, so you have to specify not to use the color cartridge every time you print. When you run out of ink, if you decide to replace the cartridges you will have to print an alignment page. You will not be able to print this in draft mode, and it will mess up the page at least once. You must scan the page in order to proceed. You must do this every time you change a cartridge, or the printer will not work. The printer will not work with only a black cartridge. I have a full black cartridge in my printer at this moment and want to print a page of text, but the software will not allow me to do so even though the printer is capable of it. Do not buy Lexmark products. By giving them money you are supporting this kind of garbage.

Don't blame the product for your mistake

XFX GeForce 9600 GSO 1GB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card PVT96OZDFU
XFX GeForce 9600 GSO 1GB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card PVT96OZDFU

Pros: The previous reviewer gave this card a poor review because he tried to 'upgrade' a 384-bit 8800GTX (previous top of the line card) that had a 100mhz faster memory clock, 25mhz faster core clock, 32 more shaders and nearly double the memory data path with this obviously budget oriented, 196-bit card. Perhaps the previous reviewer should do some research, check out some benchmarks, compare the specifications and use some common sense before using their credit card. This is a good card if you use the coupon code and rebate, bringing it down to the seventy dollar range. Especially when you consider that it comes with both Call of Duty 4 & 5, which combined are worth more than you would spend on this card.

Cons: The only cons I can think of are that there are far better performing cards for not a lot more money, especially in the used market. Such as the previous reviewer's 8800GTX which you can find for about the same price or less on your favorite scammer infested auction site.

Overall Review: It's unfortunate that under-informed consumers can blatantly slander a company's product on here.

What else can I say?

Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: I just bought a second one of these for my computer. It works great. I don't know how quiet or noisy it is, but I can't hear it. It's fast enough that I don't curse it during file operations. It's a lot of space for not a lot of money.

Cons: The only con I can think of is not having enough cash to buy 4 more of them for a RAID array.

Overall Review: This is a good purchase, but larger drives might offer more GB per dollar these days.

Everything I wanted

Rosewill RK650 Silver/Black 104 Normal Keys 5 Function Keys USB Slim Keyboard
Rosewill RK650 Silver/Black 104 Normal Keys 5 Function Keys USB Slim Keyboard

Pros: The best thing about this keyboard is the profile and the fact that it's very quiet. The laptop keys feel nice under the fingers and keep the noise to a minimum. It's very small so it takes up little space on my desk.

Cons: The only cons are that it's so slim it would be very easy to break. I doubt the durability of this keyboard, but for the price I paid I wouldn't feel bad about replacing it. Also, not really a big con but, it takes some getting used to since the key height is almost nonexistant and the layout is different from a typical keyboard. However, that is to be expected.

Overall Review: Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for something small and quiet to type on. Hard to go wrong for this low price!

this processor is TEH WIN!!

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ - Athlon 64 ClawHammer Single-Core 2.4 GHz Socket 754 Processor - ADA3700BOX

Comments: Got this with the biostar nf325-a7 on a combo deal. System is fast and stable, although overclocking leaves something to be desired, but for the price who can complain? Coupled with a 1gb dimm of crucial value, this system has greatly improved performance in comparison to my barton 2500+ The only downside of my recent build is that the video card needs to be RMA'd, but I know that it will be a relatively painless process. Thats why I shop here! :)
