Good card, But.....

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N975-AR
EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N975-AR

Pros: It's a good basic GPU. Runs well if a little hot. I swapped the stock cooler out for a spare Akimbo cooler I had and it fit like a glove (Everything is exactly where it is on the 8800GT). Good value if you aren't expecting lightening speed.

Cons: I bought this card fully expecting a small improvement over my 8800GT's. Not only is there no improvement, its about 5% slower on average. I thought this was possibly just one fluke card, but I got my Step up (From an 8800GS) yesterday and same exact results. Either the Shaders are locked to am certain clock, or there just not as good as on the 8800GT. Also, the ram won't Overclock as well either.

Overall Review: Basically, its a very good GPU for a mid level gaming system. EVGA quality is always very good and their Customer Support, Tech Support and forums are the best in the GPU and Motherboard market. Suggestion: If you're looking for blazing speed and have another 40 bucks, go with the 9800GTX +. I wish I would have.

Very good Card for the money.

EVGA GeForce GTS 250 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-1150-TR
EVGA GeForce GTS 250 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-1150-TR

Pros: As some have stated below, it's an updated version of the 9800GTX+. (Not really re-branded as they made several significant improvements) Over an inch shorter, they over clock better than the 9800GTX+, run cooler than the 9800GTX+ and only require 1 power connector each. I'd advise anyone who was interested in one of the top "Bang for your Buck" cards.

Cons: They've gone up 10 bucks. (I want 3 more.)

Overall Review: Bought 2 of these from the Egg and used 2 EVGA 8800GT's for step up to 2 more to fill out a MSI P6N Diamond for folding. Was considering Water Cooling, but these run so cool and quieter than I expected so I may leave them on air. Come on NewEgg. Drop the Price back to $129.99.

Look Nice. Nice Air Flow...

Thermaltake A2029 120mm Case Fan
Thermaltake A2029 120mm Case Fan

Pros: These look very nice. The flow is nice. The added Controller is nice. The thermal sensors are also a nice addition. I have some running in each variation on different rigs and they don't disappoint.

Cons: At full Blast, these are pretty loud. The temp sensors seem to work pretty well, but don't ramp up the RPMs fast enough for my needs (on a WC Radiator).

Nice little Drive...

OCZ Diesel 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model OCZUSBDSL16G

Pros: Nice little Drive. Nothing fancy. Nothing flashy, just 16g of storage space.

Cons: -1 Egg - About 1 week after I got it, It went berzerk on me and I had to Format it. Since that time, it's worked flawlessly.

Works well and does it's job.

Acer X223Wbd 22" WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI LCD Monitor

Pros: No Dead Pixels. Nice Layout. Power button actuation takes a little getting used to but I now prefer it to the one on my Veiwsonic.

Cons: That Splash Screen needs to go. Not enough to drop an egg, but please......

Pros: Looks Incredible and Runs very stable Power to my System. Voltage never even hitches when folding full steam.

Cons: Man, this thing is HUGE!!! I didn't look colse before I bought it and when I pulled it out of the box, I wasn't sure it would fit in my Case. Zalman, if you read these, please lengthen the 8pin Power cable for those of us who have cases that mount the PSU at the bottom.
