First time builder. Easy enough. Debug LEDs helped slot everything in.
Pros: -The M.2 is an obvious pro here. -I found the EZ Debug LEDs helpful. - Cheap. (No flashy LEDs though)
Cons: -The backing plate falls off when you remove the tabs around the CPU(for aftermarket heatsinks). READ BELOW
Overall Review: MSI: The backing plate for the CPU/heatsink fan. AMD's stock wraith spire cooler has absolutely horrific design. The screws are spring loaded and need an alarming amount of force to screw in. This is obv. an AMD issue. But, would be nice if the backing plate was stuck to the motherboard(adhesive) or screws to it independent of the tabs on the side of the processor. Builders: please dont try to place the HSF on the CPU without first placing the backing plate and holding it in place. Might seem obvious to seasoned builders but for first timers it may be useful advice. You will hear it fall off when you unscrew the tabs to place your cooler.
Cheap but Effective Product. OC with Ryzen
Pros: Overclocked to 3066 MHz with Ryzen 5 1600. No b.s. (lol RAM heatsink)
Cons: Nothing apparent. Bought two sticks a year apart no problems apparent yet.
Overall Review: I believe this is the cheapest DDR4 3000 RAM.
