Purchased Two for Monster system
Pros: Very high build quality, well packaged with all the cables I needed. I purchased two for a new gaming rig build and dedicated one to run two GTX590 cards and the other to run the system. Two power supplies run nice and quiet in the case. Modular cables means I can select only what I need and avoid cable-spaghetti-mess. All cables are nice and long enabling me to run them out of the way.
Cons: None
Overall Review: NewEgg was a few bucks higher on this item than some competitors but their promos swayed my decision to buy. Love the promos! I saved $100 and I appreciate it.
Works well for me
Pros: Quiet and runs cool. Multiple mounting points so you can control how far back it sits in your 5.25 bay. Great for dedicated power for your PCIe cards with two (2) PCIe 8 pin and two (2) PCIe 6 pin power outs. Uses one Molex in from your main power supply to trigger power on since it has its own wall plug.
Cons: I have none so far. It is a little weird having multiple wall plugs from the back of your computer but it is to be expected with this setup.
Overall Review: I like the idea of dedicated power for SLI setups. I needed these (I bought two) for driving my Tri-SLI GTX 280 cards. They work very well.
Excellent So Far
Pros: Quiet and reliable. I have this drive running 24/7 for the past year with no issues whatsoever.
Cons: Zero. Seagate has neer failed me.
Overall Review: As with enay hard drive you should ensure it has enough power and cooling.
