Pros: This was for my wife and daughter's computer, so I wasn't sure if they would like it, but they both have taken to it quite well. They like the lighting effects as a great novelty, and the keys work really well -- the old keyboard was sticking in places. So, it works well, gives them something to look forward to and does what we got it for.

Cons: It takes a USB 2 port. Not a big issue, but the old lightless board only used one of the USB 1 level ports. I may have to invest in a USB hub, which would not be a big deal, or a new motherboard and case. The old computer is overdue for a rebuild, anyway.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this keyboard. It's not used for gaming, although I can see where it would be great for that with some of the available lighting configurations. Now to see how long it will last.

Pros: Easy to install. Works right out of the box. Seems to "loaf" where the Ryzen 5 2600 I had before had to work harder, so temperatures are rarely above 50 C. Things get done a lot faster now.

Cons: I had to update the motherboard BIOS, something I hadn't done before. It worked out fine, though. I will probably need to upgrade my video card (mine is a Radeon 470) to help things along. I don't do a lot of graphics-intensive gaming anymore, so that's not a big priority.

Overall Review: If your CPU is a couple of generations old and you're looking to upgrade to something to see you through the next couple of years or so, this is the one!

Pros: I bought it at the beginning of July, it arrived quickly and safely, and it's been working fine ever since. Using information I learned from product reviews before I bought it, I connected it with HDMI and I'm not using the speakers. I play games only occasionally, and it has worked well for those.

Cons: None. We'll see how well it works over time.

Overall Review: Yes I would definitely recommend it, given the caveats I mentioned above.
