Acer XG270HU omidpx 27" 2K QHD 2560 x 1440 1ms 144Hz AMD FreeSync Technology Edge-to-Edge Frameless Design DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort Built-in Speakers LED Backlit LCD Gaming Monitor

Pros: 144hz, 1440p, build in speakers, everything is as advertised Edit: Now, NVIDIA has announced that they will support Variable Refresh Rate on this model, so if you are wanting to buy a monitor for refresh rate and have an NVIDIA card, this monitor will work (I have tested it myself, but only works for 10-series and 20-series cards)

Cons: none

Overall Review: Comes with 1 Audio Pass-thru, 1 DVI-Dual Link, 1 Display Port, AND 1 HDMI Cable, so you don't need to buy any cable for this monitor.

Most Critical Review

It hold everything, but could hold it nicer.

Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 ATX Mid-Tower w/ Front DarkMirror Panel, 3 Customize Color Trims, & Transparent Acrylic Side Panel
Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 ATX Mid-Tower w/ Front DarkMirror Panel, 3 Customize Color Trims, & Transparent Acrylic Side Panel

Pros: It comes with enough motherboard standoffs, and the replacement of the customizable parts is easy to use. The Cable management is perfect for me, but some people really like to manage cables more than others.

Cons: The AIRFLOW!! I was getting temperatures of 90C on my i7-4790K, where an older case that had opening at the top only got up to 75C. The problem is the lack of airflow in the front of the case, which can be solved by either taking out the top 2 clips, or the front acrylic entirely. I don't think either should have to be done, but those are my only options because there is just not enough airflow for this case to handle.

Overall Review: The shroud over the PSU is nice, but requires you to mount the fan downward, it only is a negative if you will be placing the PC on carpet.

Works wonderfully

Cooler Master RGB Controller/Hub for Computer Case Fans, Software Supported, 4 Connecting Ports, USB Link, Multiple Light Modes, Color Customization - 1 Pack
Cooler Master RGB Controller/Hub for Computer Case Fans, Software Supported, 4 Connecting Ports, USB Link, Multiple Light Modes, Color Customization - 1 Pack

Pros: Universal connectors means you are not limited to Cooler Master products with this RGB controller. It's powered by SATA, not Molex, which make me sleep much better.

Cons: It needs to use a USB2.0 Connector, so if your MOBO only has one internal connector, and you case has one, then you will have to sacrifice the header panel. Most motherboards have more than one USB2.0 Connector, so you will probably be fine.

Overall Review: The cables were long enough to fit comfortably in my Mid-Tower Case, so if you are going Full Tower, then you should either bunch everything up, or get some extention cables.

Nice, cheap RGB fans

MasterFan Pro 120 Air Balance RGB with Hybrid-Design Fan Blade, Speed Profiles, Jam Protection, and Customizable Color Options by Cooler Master
MasterFan Pro 120 Air Balance RGB with Hybrid-Design Fan Blade, Speed Profiles, Jam Protection, and Customizable Color Options by Cooler Master

Pros: The have many color options, and are universal, so they will work with other universal hubs. It's also compatible with many softwares, so you can run it in sync with all your other gear.

Cons: It's on the noisy side, and you can hear some motor noise on one of the 3 that I got. Perhaps I just got a bad one.

Overall Review: Cooler Master's RGB Software is very lacking, so I would not recommend it, unless you want to use the mirage function. If you do use the mirage function, you will only be able to get it all to work if all the fans are running at the same RPM, which means you need a splitter for all the fans you will get.

Nothing more I can expect.

Motherboard Sleeved 24 pin Extension Cable 9.8 inches Red by Raidmax
Motherboard Sleeved 24 pin Extension Cable 9.8 inches Red by Raidmax

Pros: It does what it says on the tin, a 24pin sleeved extension cable, with a length of 9.8 inches.

Cons: None

Overall Review: It doesn't melt, it doesn't explode, it extends my power cable by 9.8 inches, and give it flexibility.

Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2x NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)
Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2x NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

Pros: Great cooling, the best air solution on the market. Fits in most Mid-ATX builds

Cons: Size. The size is big if you don't know the dimensions of the case, and it will most likely prevent you from accessing all four slots, so plan to run dual channel. Price. This is a bit expensive, but I believe it is worth it.

Overall Review: As long as you have checked everything over, this should be a great buy!
