Wide screen glory on a budget

Z-EDGE 34 inch UltraWide 2K Curved Gaming Monitor, 21:9 UWQHD 1440P 165Hz, 1ms, FreeSync Compatible, HDMI x2, DP x2, PBP & PIP Mode

Pros: -Specs in this listing are accurate -Doesn't break the bank -Freesync and G Sync

Cons: -Included stand has very little range of motion -Comes with an HDMI cable instead of a DP cable

Overall Review: I decided to take a risk with a more obscure brand, and wasn't disappointed. The monitor is easy to set up and looks nice. The included instruction manual wasn't very helpful, but the included stand and OSD are pretty intuitive. I have an RTX 2070 so I was looking for G-Sync, and was slightly alarmed when the G Sync settings did not appear in Nvidia Control Panel. Freesync is not enabled by default, so you have to go into the monitor's settings and enable it, which will cause G Sync settings to appear in the Nvidia control panel, allowing you to enable G Sync no problem. The included stand leaves a lot to be desired, but at this price, I of course have no right to complain. I'm six feet tall and my desk is about 30 inches off the ground, and I ended up boosting the monitor up with some tile samples I had lying around to give it some more height. I think Z Edge assumed people would have their own stand or were going to wall mount the monitor. I would have preferred a DP cable be included instead of HDMI, but that's not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Front Panel Audio Jacks defective

Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Supports: E-ATX & XL-ATX, 4 Dual-Speed Fans, 10 Expansion Slots
Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Supports: E-ATX & XL-ATX, 4 Dual-Speed Fans, 10 Expansion Slots

Pros: -Gigantic -Looks amazing from the front. You feel like HAL 9000 is in there -Super satisfying power button -Pre-Installed fans, including huge side panel intake fan

Cons: -Heavy. Heavier than you think it should be -Gigantic. If you are not using extended ATX or several HDD's, you will always know in the back of your mind that the case is just too big. -Fan installation unclear for a first time PC builder -If you set up the fans as designed, the motherboard cannot control the fans.

Overall Review: This thing is big. It's too big for most people. But it looks really, really cool. The red LED's on the front panel and front intake fan make you feel like a supervillain. I had some gripes. The fans are not meant to be plugged into your motherboard. Instead, the fans plug into the front panel fan speed knobs (which you'll leave at max speed and forget about), which runs into your PSU, using cables that come with your PSU. This is unclear from the outset, and the manual didn't help much. This scheme lets you control your fan speed with the front panel knobs, but you will never turn them down. Additionally, the motherboard cannot control the fans, since the fans are just wired into the PSU instead of your fan headers on the motherboard. Your PC doesn't think it has chassis fans at all. My front panel audio jacks were dead. I would have returned it, but I was stubborn and excited to have built my first PC, so I just lived with it. The extreme size and the defective audio jacks led me to replace this case with another Rosewill case of appropriate size.

Bought Refurb, totally satisfied

Corsair CA-9011187-NA Void Pro Stereo Premium Gaming Headset, Black
Corsair CA-9011187-NA Void Pro Stereo Premium Gaming Headset, Black

Overall Review: Bought this product refurbished. No problems at all. Not a lot can go wrong with a simple headset like this. The headset itself is just as advertised. I appreciate the headband cushion, and the mic folds up and away out of sight, out of mind. Comes with a jack adapter so you can do input/output through one jack or two.

Overall Review: I bought this kit along all of the components for my first PC build. If you are building for the first time, you need this kit. You cannot get away with not having it.

Beautiful Case, minor installation complaints

Rosewill ZIRCON T ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Computer Case with Side Panel Window, Includes 2 x 120mm Fans, 240mm AIO up to 360mm Liquid Cooler Support, 380mm Graphics Card Support
Rosewill ZIRCON T ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Computer Case with Side Panel Window, Includes 2 x 120mm Fans, 240mm AIO up to 360mm Liquid Cooler Support, 380mm Graphics Card Support

Pros: -Beautiful window -Compact, great use of space -Motherboard installation presented no problems

Cons: -The hardware was all mixed into the same bag. The screws are very distinctive, so you can pick them apart, but my previous Rosewill case separated screws into sorted baggies -The expansion slot covers cannot be replaced once you remove them. In order to remove them, you bend them and snap them off the case, kind of like how you punch cardboard board game pieces out of a larger sheet. The case comes with a single replacement expansion slot cover.

Overall Review: Exactly what I was looking for. No disappointments, just some nitpicks as described.
