Pros: Works as advertised (see comments)
Cons: none
Overall Review: I originally wrote a negative review (titled "very disappointing"). It turns out I just hadn't correctly installed all the drivers. After visiting AMD's website (instead of using the provided DVD with web link) everything works great. I can drive all three monitors from the card with no problem. I was able to get 2560x1600 out of the DVI and DisplayPort and 1920x1080 from the HDMI (with adapter to DVI). I currently have a 30" at 2560x1600 and two 20" monitors rotated to 1200x1600, each at 32-bit coler and 60 Hz. I haven't tried any games yet to see performance, but I wanted to correct my earlier post ASAP.
very disappointing
Pros: It can provide video output to a display
Cons: The claims: 1) 2560 x 1600 resolution per display (with DisplayPort) 2) 3-monitor display support 3) rotated displays (implicit) The reality: 1) I cannot get 2560 x 1600 resolution with either dual DVI-D or DisplayPort. I can only get 1920 x 1440 2) I can only get 1 diplay to work at a time 3) I can not rotate displays
Overall Review: I have a 3-monitor setup (one 30 inch wide 2560x1600 and two 20 inch rotated 1200x1600). I cannot use any of them effectively with this card. My previous card could do 2560x1600 on the 30" and 1200x1600 on one 20", so I know it's the video card or drivers, not the other components or displays. Am I doing something wrong here? How could this product fall so short in so many ways? How could it have so many positive reviews? I removed my previous card's drivers. I installed the drivers from the DVD and updated them over the web. I'm using an Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 motherboard with an Intel i7-2600K processor, installing to first PCIe2.0/x16 slot.
