Not bad
Pros: Cheap, decently fast. Decent overclocker. I went from a Semprom 3800+ on this board to the 4450e, and it was a nice boost. Overclocked it to 2.8Ghz and run's stable with stock HSF.
Cons: XP X64 didn't recognize the chip at first. Had to update BIOS again after my last update a week prior, and then find some AMD driver's for X64.
Overall Review: Like I stated before running a Sempron in this server to a 4450e, and it was a vast improvement. Temp's dropped, and CPU load dropped. Very pleased with this chip.
Pros: Suunto makes great watches. Some of the best on the market if not the best.
Cons: This is the only one Newegg carries. Why Newegg? You know Military personnel are huge fan's of your site, and Suunto is alway's a big seller for Military personnel.
Overall Review: Newegg need's to start carrying more of the Suunto line.
Bang for buck
Pros: Excellent performance. I received the card'and anticipated issues running SLI, as last time I ran SLI it wasn't with Nvidia card's. Was impressed by the performance, and loved the ability to turn everything up on AoC finally. Getting great FPS with max setting's in AoC which is a pretty demanding game itself.
Cons: Price. They are the best bang for the buck, but I was hoping the price on them would have dropped below 200 by the time I was ready to purchase.
Overall Review: Getting ready to use my step-up on both card's for the 275 1792MB version, hope to see even greater result's for minimal cost. I see no point in spending 300+ for a card if there are card's that can match them for less $$$. These card's are a great buy though, and I would recommend them to anyone, especially the EVGA model's. There's not a single company around that can compete with their service, and what they offer.
Have two of them
Pros: Great OCing. Great having SLI, without the crazy price. Extremely stable for what it is capable of. Sturdy board. Had one bending pretty far installing the CPU waterblock. I got a little nervous with that. All in all EVGA did a great job on this one.
Cons: Price. Still at 150 USD after 1 year, and i7? Come on EVGA, I know they were the best out of the 700series, but seriously 150 still? Nvidia chipset. They work right, if you keep them cool, even they are a bit quirky.
Overall Review: Two rig's with this board in my room. One is a Q9650@4Ghz, and 8Ghz of 1066 RAM. Second is an E8400 at 4.4Ghz, with 4GB of RAM, both are great. Running cool and stable under water for the CPU and chipset. Have SLI'd EVGA 260s (55nm) in both, and loving the power. Only complaint is that they still want 150 for it after all of this time, nothing to take an egg for.
Gorgeous card!
Pros: Great card, very responsive. Low Latency in almost every appilication I throw at it. Great driver's relatively stable with mild overclock's. EVGA has great customer support, and backed by Newegg make's this a a great buy for "best bang of buck" performance. Will buy a second one for dual SLI in my HTPC rig.
Cons: Fan can be loud. OCing instability with the EVGA Precision software. Seem's to be some bug's with the Steam support on this card, and Left 4 Dead demo should fly, however is get's freezing and severe stuttering at higher resolution's. I appear to be the only person having this problem. Have contacted Valve about this. Waiting for a reply.
Overall Review: Best bang for buck card on the market. Don't buy into the ATi hype. They are still playing catch up with all but thier highest offering's. They are still even after 7 year's of me buying only Nvidia having issues with thier video driver's. Driver's have alway's been Nvidia's strong point, they just work when you want them too.
Pretty nice....
Pros: Nice quality PCB, as usual for Biostar. No faulty solders or chips. Great OC for beginner's like myself, and option's for more advanced user's as well. Great CPU support, and generaly very stable.
Cons: Took me about a week to get the audio to work for onboard sound. I ended up having to install the driver's from the disk that comes with it, and then installing the altest version of the WDM_205 driverset. Bit of a headache finding information on this board as it's no longer one of Biostar's production board's. They've already switched over to the TA780G M2+ SE. Wish they had a forum on their site with some tech's working it. Would have made this a lot less of a headache.
Overall Review: Great board after the audio issues were worked out. My first enthusiast board since my old ST 286 day's when I had to solder lead's, and play with jumper setting's. LOL! That was back in '92. Love the shipset on the board. AMD makes me happy again with their quality chip's and stability.
