Pros: This stud finder, which also detects wiring and plumbing, is fairly easy to use, well illuminated and easy to read. It does discern electrical wiring with a nice indicator.

Cons: I was a little disappointed in the thing's accuracy, in that while it did find studs, it did not seem to accurately ID the center. In the early versions of stud finder, one would wipe the wall with the thing until one indicator would light, and then when two or more lit, you'd likely have the center. The ambitious arrangement in this unit displays the percentage of likely objects, and then an indication of the edge, followed by both an LED and LCD confirmation of center. But in one test, It indicated a stud center, though off by 1/2" or so as verified by an existing hole in drywall...clearly showing the edge of the stud and thus verification of center.

Overall Review: It works, but you have to switch back and forth between "deep" mode, and "exact" mode and do this a few times before you can be confident you've identified stud center. So, it's workable and of course, the price is great.

Pros: No hassle set up, metal shroud keeps the unit cool without a fan (the last one we had was poly and died due to overheating), easy to see working lights.

Overall Review: I would indeed recommend this unit to anyone who needs a 5 port switch!

Pros: This small form factor is well designed in that it's not difficult to handle. It's easy to orient properly (unlikely to place in the port upside-down), and is expectedly fast in data transfer.
