Ultimate for the Price!

Logitech THX Z-5300e 280 Watts RMS 5.1 Speaker
Logitech THX Z-5300e 280 Watts RMS 5.1 Speaker

Pros: The bass on this thing is strong! Yet it isn't overpowering. I moved up from a 25 watt RMS Creative Inspire system and I'll never look back. Surround Sound ROCKS and the speakers still sound like new after over a year of heavy room-pounding work.

Cons: Wires may be a pain at first and the front speaker cables could be a little longer. The controller is also 2x as large as it needs to be, otherwise flawless.

Overall Review: Pair this up with a Creative Audigy or X-Fi card for unsurpassed sound quality. Audiophiles and Gamers will both be extremely happy with this... I'm both.

Most Critical Review

First RMA...

Newo corporation 087 Dream Cheeky USB Plasma Ball
Newo corporation 087 Dream Cheeky USB Plasma Ball

Pros: It looks cool, plugs into a USB, and is fairly attractive.

Cons: The first one died within a week of use. RMA came in and 2nd one has held up for 3 months.

Overall Review: Thanks Newegg for a smooth RMA process!!!!!!!

Sleek and Quiet

NZXT Apollo Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
NZXT Apollo Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is very well designed and has enough room to fit nearly anything you stuff in it. Plenty of HD space and the screwless drive mount system is very convenient. Edges have been smoothed and the panels are high quality (not flimsy at all!). The front panel is closed magnetically so you don't have to worry about a plastic latch wearing off too. It's a fantastic case as long as you're okay with a medium-bright blue LED light from the front.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: This thing is absolutely silent. I put in two additional 120mm fans (+ 92mm CPU fan) and I can't hear the system from 2 feet away!

Flawless

StarTech BRACKET Metal 3.5" to 5.25" Drive Adapter Bracket
StarTech BRACKET Metal 3.5" to 5.25" Drive Adapter Bracket

Pros: Just what I needed. It's a hard to find part but definitely gets the job done. Ran out of 3.5" slots for my HDs so this converted an open 5.25" slot for my new HD. Couldn't be happier!

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Installation was a breeze. Newegg's legendary service and speed strikes again!

No problems

Thermaltake CL-P0296 CPU Cooler
Thermaltake CL-P0296 CPU Cooler

Pros: For people who have ever installed a CPU/heatsink, this is a PIECE OF CAKE. Do not be fooled, this thing is REALLY quiet. And it also cools extremely well. The huge heatsink on it makes my CPU the COOLEST COMPONENT with a sensor in my PC. My HD and mobo are all hotter than my CPU, that's how good this beast is.

Cons: The fan grill will NOT stop wires from getting caught in the fan so make sure you know how to wire around it.

Awe

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ - Athlon 64 X2 Toledo Dual-Core 2.2 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA4400CDBOX

Pros: Plain awe. Moved from an Athlon XP 2600+ to this beast, will never look back. No problems encoding or gaming. Stock heatsink/fan is awesome.

Cons: Be careful installing the heatsink as it is a little large.

Overall Review: Why have you not bought one yet?
