5600x Out of the box ready = peace of mind for me
Pros: - I was informed this might not work right away (by PCpartpicker) because of an needing a update to bios for installing the CPU i bought but i dropped a Ryzen 5 5600x in and it fired up just fine without me doing a thing. (updating bios isn't that hard, did it on a MSI b350 going from a 1400 to 2600 but it was an extra step and I'm lazy) - Two of a bunch of features I like (M.2, PCIe x16, PCIe x1, USB 3.2(3 actually), LAN) -Beefy heat sinks all around, seems sturdy in general - I think it looks pretty slick with my MSI RTX 2060 since they share the same silver and black motif
Cons: - Plugging in the power cable in the top left was kinda hard cause its in between the giant heat sink over the ports area and the one labeled MAG - No WIFI ( I imagine this is a huge counterpoint for most but don't really use WIFI anyway so its take it or leave it for me) - Why are there still a PS/2 port on these things? Maybe i don't know what I'm talking about because i myself haven't found a use but i think they should give us more of stuff we need and let the people with legacy peripherals get adapters/ figure it out. I sure there is some monetary reason somewhere for MSI and mobo makers in general but its time to move on. End rant.
Overall Review: I would fully endorse this motherboard as I would the vast majority of MSI products. Ive had three mobos, two GPUs and a internal WIFI card made by this company and id rate them all 4.5+/5 stars. Until i get burned cause it ends up being trash or get one DOA, I look their way first and if the price is competitive with the other major brands i buy it. I'm confident making that recommendation to anyone.
I like this company. I hate these speakers
Pros: -They look cool -Easy to adjust various colors and light pattern modes -They plug via USB so you don't need a electrical outlet (great for a laptop) -The packaging was the best part
Cons: -Cons?Cons? i cannot stress this enough- they sound awful. My condolences if you go from a good quality audio experience to these. Its offensive to the ears -Cant plug in headphones (not that you'd want to) -Every time you turn these on/off the volume resets to normal audio level. So if you forget and have your system at max volume? You're gonna have a bad time -The packaging was the best part
Overall Review: I actually like this company, I am not trying to bad mouth them in general. I would fully endorse looking into their line of cases; I have one and it keeps things frosty. These speaker though? Selling these is an affront to this companies good name and i hope Newegg stops carrying them. Phanteks needs to use this design with better quality audio parts; not for their own sake but for ours.
Fast install. Faster Boots
Pros: - No problems getting it to work with MSI B350M Bazooka - Is infinitely quicker than old HDD. I never took exact times but it felt like a minute to load OS before and now it takes a little over 10 seconds. No more walking away from the computer during video game loading screens - Looks cool. Nice and modern without being over the top ( Matches well enough with ADATA XPG Z1 RAM sticks )
Cons: - none. couldn't screw in before because i'm an idiot. fixed now
Overall Review: I like this SSD. My first M.2 so I don't really have a ton of first hand experience for a direct comparison but as of this date it works for me. I would recommend this product, good size for an OS and some other programs while you use your old HDD for storage.
Its a replacment laptop battery...
Pros: What can you really say about a laptop battery that separates it from the rest? Its dashingly good looks? Its ability to humor us with a whimsical joke? No; much like any good relationship, the most important thing is fitting in well/making us comfortable while being there for us when it matters most. This is that battery.
Cons: Negative one star because all relationships eventually lose power and die just like i assume this battery will. Nothings perfect.
Overall Review: The old one finally quit. I just looked up HP2000 batteries and the parts number of the old one and here we are now. Pretty sure its the exact same type. I'm happy having my laptop back. Thanks to you battery, And thank you seller, you've been lovely. See you again in 2032.
Looks nice while getting the job done
Pros: - futuristic design elements - super easy installation - better than nothing for not a lot of $
Cons: - not the greatest plastic material
Overall Review: Came well packaged. I have my doubts on the durability of this folding joint. The actual connector where it screws in feels really solid though. A decent product, no real complaints.
Installed in HP Pavillion p6754y - Easy plug and play
Pros: - Works with Linux Ubuntu (20.04) - Good Price - Simple install, Not tall or bulky - Quick
Cons: - I'm searching for some constructive criticism and can't think of any but if something happens I'll certainly update
Overall Review: I'd 100% recommend this to anyone trying to upgrade their old Ethernet on this particular model HP and tell anyone looking to upgrade their old PC's internet to look into it.
