Pros: High throughput
Super low price for what you get
Quieter than my Cisco switches
Cons: Requires some networking know-how for anything but basic switching, but thats to be expected.
Overall Review: Using this for a proof of concept Openstack setup in my apartment. Needed to set up VLANs so Openstack could auto provision using PXE. Didn't want it messing with the rest of my network. This switch is just awesome!
Pros: The sound quality is good. It's very easy to use and set up.
Cons: The piece that goes behind the ear to give it support is VERY flimsy. Broke within a few weeks of ownership. The unit is almost unusable after that happens (won't stay in the ear).
Pros: This is a great little device. Solid build, great features, and very easy to work with. It does require a screw driver, but comes with it!
Overall Review: It has a virtual CD drive function that makes installing operating systems from ISO files a breeze. Just make sure you read the instructions, you can't just throw the ISO's on the drive and expect them to work. You must put them in a _ISO folder on the root of the drive. Works flawlessly once you figure that out.
Pros: Very cheap for the size, good picture, lots of inputs.
Cons: Built in speakers are poor.
Overall Review: This is a great TV for a college student like myself. Great price, good picture, and the only thing lacking is built in speakers. This isn't a huge deal for me, I have a separate sound system that I plugged into the RCA audio out jacks.
Pros: Quiet, and works great with my system. See specs in Other thoughts. Powers it no problem.
Overall Review: System I have it in:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition - Overclocked to 3.6 GHz
Patriot G Series 'Sector 5' Edition 4GB
XFX GX260XADJC GeForce GTX 260
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
Powers it no problem.
Pros: This RAM is amazing. Fast, stable, had no problems at all. Works great with my Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition. I have the RAM clocked at stock 1600 MHz. Blazing fast.
Pros: Very nice card. Runs almost anything I can throw at it. Ran Crysis on high. Choked on Shattered Horizon, but was to be expected. Running it on a 550 watt power supply with a
Overall Review: Runs quite hot compared to other cards that I'm used to. ~74C when playing Crysis or Left 4 Dead 2. Did some research to determine it's safe up to 105C at the very most.
Pros: Amazing graphics, amazing game play. Most things you see in game are destructible. One second you're taking cover behind a brick wall, and the next, poof, it's gone.
Overall Review: Your health is realistic when it comes to explosions. If someone gets a direct hit on you with a grenade, you're dead. Almost without warning. But a great game nonetheless.
Pros: Works great, I live in a dorm with think brick walls, and i'm picking it up three rooms down from mine. Awesome range. The small size is awesome. Even smaller than I expected it would be. Its great for my three computers that don't have bluetooth.
Overall Review: Windows 7 picked up some basic drivers for it, but the drivers on the CD added more features.
Pros: It has good range and quality. Works wonderfully under windows and linux. Battery lasts about 10 hours on a full charge, great for a full day of gaming. The microphone automatically mutes when you flip it up (no more forgetting to mute :-)). It is also very comfortable.
Cons: Sound cuts out for a split second every once in a while, but very rarely. Doesn't always start charging when you plug it in, but you just need to unplug it and plug it back in and the problem resolves itself.
Overall Review: All in all a great product, very minor issues. The pros definitely out weigh the cons. The quality is just amazing.
