Stable, Fast, Good range
Pros: Much faster and better coverage than the Trendnet 637AP it is replacing. Running 2.2.7 firmware and zero issues so far. Admin interface is straight forward (manual not needed). I skimmed the manual after the fact (online or CD) and it is very detailed. Running a Rokus streaming NetFlix and web browsing on two laptops. No buffering or hesitations.
Cons: Uses the RP-TNC Type connectors. So my other antennas do not work. This is a 3 antenna unit, came with some decent 5 dBi antennas. No real need to upgrade the antennas with the coverage I am getting. Just something to keep in mind if you want use some existing higher dBi antennas
Overall Review: Please so far. Time will tell. Anything was better than a TrendNet that locks up ever few days
Poor Quality
Pros: Good range
Cons: Lock ups requiring reset TrendNet never releases new firmware. Seem to abandon products after release
Overall Review: Ran fine for the first few months. Then began to lock up after a few days requiring power off and on. I defaulted all the settings back to factory defaults. Setup a basic WPA2-PSK.. ran fine again for 3 days and locked up again. No firmware updates. Looking for a better product. This is junk
EOL
Pros: Solid product
Cons: Product is EOL by manufacturer. This must be new "old" stock being sold
Works great
Pros: Connected right up at 1080. Movies display clear and better than the LCD screen on the laptop. Cable is heavy and seems to be high quality.
Cons: Fairly stiff cable, but better than cheap and flimsy
Pros: Big leap in performance. Pricing finally hit my sweet spot.
Cons: None so far
Nice Upgrade
Pros: Nice construction, cables wrapped, quiet fan
Cons: Modular cables would have been nice. Other than that, this is a great unit for the price.
Overall Review: Replaced an Antec Tri-Power 550 which could not keep up with 3 SATA Drives, an X1950, and AMD X2. Would start beeping under load. No problems now!
