Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TY2KIT12864AA663

Pros: just google reviews for the ram, and you will see that it is an awesome value...highly overclockable, can do 800mhz at tight timing @ 3-3-3-12. its a true bargain considering the ram prices rising

Cons: zero

Great if you didn't receive a dud

HGST Ultrastar 7K4000 HUS724030ALE641 (0F17731) 3TB 64MB Cache 7200 RPM SATA III 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Enterprise Internal Hard Drive
HGST Ultrastar 7K4000 HUS724030ALE641 (0F17731) 3TB 64MB Cache 7200 RPM SATA III 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Enterprise Internal Hard Drive

Pros: Refurb was a good deal, good performance and not as noisy as people make it to be. However it vibrates really hard in my sata hotswap compared to the other HDs in it. I placed a thin piece of rubberband to keep it from rattling in the slot.

Cons: Ordered 2, one had had immediate SMART warning on boot with 2000 errors. Newegg replaced it and the replacement ran fine.

Could have been perfect

Thermaltake ToughFan 12 High Static Pressure 2000 PWM, Metal-Reinforced Motor Hub, Gen.2 Hydraulic Bearing Case/ Radiator Fan (Single Pack) CL-F117-PL12BL-A
Thermaltake ToughFan 12 High Static Pressure 2000 PWM, Metal-Reinforced Motor Hub, Gen.2 Hydraulic Bearing Case/ Radiator Fan (Single Pack) CL-F117-PL12BL-A

Pros: extremely long sleeved cord, you won't need an extension Sterrox type material blades like Noctua Much quieter than my Nidec typhoon GT cheaper than noctua

Cons: It is no way a radiator fan, the aggressive design creates gaps so there is no complete seal for a radiator causing it to lose fan pressure. It is not a flat ordinary fan. The rubber mounts causes it to lift up even more adding to the gap The screws are too short in some situations because the rubber mounts causes thickness on both sides. You may have to remove the rubber mounts to create a flush seal as much as you can, but it looks ugly without it. I'm starting to doubt thermaltake even tested these fans in normal scenarios as these are common sense issues that you'd immediately notice upon installation

Overall Review: All TT had to do was create a plain jane design and this would have been superior in every way to the noctua, it loses performance due to the gap. It is however extremely quiet and feels like quality. For what I paid (half of noctua) or so, this is still a really good fan
