Nice Balanced board.
Pros: Great price and nice configuration options.
Cons: Mine Came with F6 bios, so you need an older CPU if you are going to use a Gen 9 cpu. Lucky for me I had one.
Overall Review: Not a true ATX. Good if you need some extra space, but doesn't have the front mounting screws. My front USB3 ports caused the board not to POST.
no night vision
Pros: Software is simple to use and camera is simple to setup
Cons: Uses broadcast to find cameras. No night vision on this model.
Better than expected
Pros: When I purchased this I was concerned about the single fan. However this will run 62C, 90% Fan, at 190W TDP, open case. It has a great cooling design moving the heat out the card slots and not putting much in the case. Has one 8 pin power connector.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Overall Review: Would have been nice to have molex or SATA to 8 pin rather than two six pin to one 8 pin connector.
Great Barebones on Special
Pros: I purchased this on sale with a rebate. I could not buy the parts for what I paid for it.
Cons: Proprietary power supply adapter. I only removed one star because of the power supply not being standard connector.
Overall Review: I install a hybrid drive and power color 7870 which it runs with stock settings and stock power supply, used burn in program to test to see if power supply would handle the load which it did with out any issues.
Great Processor - Poor heatsinnk
Pros: I give the processor 5 eggs.
Cons: Heat sink doesn't even deserve an egg. It doesn't even completely cover the cpu die. It is like sticking an nickel in the middle of a match book. run 35 C idle and 50C half load. Buy a after market cooler. Just when I thought Intel was starting to get their heat sinks right they prove me wrong.
Thoughts
Pros: Made a big noticeable difference on loading web pages over the on board. It is not going to play any killer games, but it helps on these very old systems.
Cons: No Half height Bracket, lucky for me, I had one that was close enough.
Overall Review: This is an NV44A. I was hoping to get lucky. From the sounds of things NV43's are probably all gone. Scored 364 3DMark06 Basic settings 1280x1024 on a Generation A 2.2 Celeron, 768MB single channel DDR 333, Drivers Nvidia 178.24
