Pros: When upgraded to firmware 3967 it has extra options like time machine support and other fixes. You need to google N4B1 firmware 3967. Down load it from german LG site Its pretty nice. My major troubles were DOA hard drives. The first two from newegg were dead and dying, I think, UPS killed them. Have your drives shiped FedEX if you want to get them working. After I bought two new 1.5T drives from local shop (Also one was DOA and had to be replaced). It works well takes forever to build a raid 1. The bluray drive is what makes this machine. Long term archive. Its well constructed. They are still supplying firmware upgrades with new options which is a good sign. Good for home or small office. Not a speed demon but for home who cares.

Cons: The US LG customer support SUCKS. I had problems with trying to get the hard drives to work. Error codes. LG stated that if you don't use the drives listed on the supported list they wont even talk to you. Its not stated on the website. But wait where is the list located ? About four layers down and hidden. What garbage!!!! The latest firmware is listed at ?2987? But wait the firmware file is corrupted. I Google "N4B1 firmware" and found they have released a newer firmware than what is listed at the US site. US site is a joke...

Overall Review: UPGRADE TO FIRMWARE 3967. NOW !!! if you want a nice machine. Do not expect any support from LG on this product. They couldn't find the side of a barn. They found any way to not give any support. If they want to compete in this segment they need to get there act together.
