overclock is pretty good

BIOSTAR N4SLI-A9 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
BIOSTAR N4SLI-A9 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: i heard so many mentioned it's very hard to oc. i got this board, at first it's hard to oc, but then i flashed the bios into the lastest. right now i'm running my venice 3200+ E3 stepping at 2.4ghz with stock heatsink/fan and stock voltage. i'm going to do more oc this fall when the temps are getting cooler.

Cons: very limited bios option for oc, ex: only 4 ram divider comparing to my friend's DFI mobo, this mobo is a joke. but then again, the price is good on this one.

Overall Review: buy this board if you want low mild oc and expensive mobo features, otherwise go get a DFI for best oc ability. price/performance is good for this mobo

2 fault psu on a row?

Cooler Master eXtreme Power 713001180 600 W ATX Form Factor 12V V2.01 Power Supply
Cooler Master eXtreme Power 713001180 600 W ATX Form Factor 12V V2.01 Power Supply

Pros: it's quieter than my old psu

Cons: i have tried 2 of these psu. First one like about 2 weeks ago, the +12v is unstable, it will restart the pc during a very intense graphic card usage. I rma it on the first day it arrived, then today I received my second unit and it's even weaker than the first one. It wouldn't even load me into a game. They both have the problem of start at 11.71 on the +12v rail. Then as soon as I open a game or something it drops down to 11.5x and then restart my pc. This is the worst product I ever have in my entire life. I am very disspointed with Cooler Master and I will never ever again buy its products anymore.

Overall Review: I know it won't power up a high end pc. But my pc is not high end at all. venice 3200+ @ 2.4ghz geforce 6600gt @ 570/1080 1 dvd, 1 sata hdd, 1 mobo.

AMD rocks

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ - Athlon 64 Venice Single-Core 2.0 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA3200BPBOX

Pros: i have the cpu for about half years now, it's great with no problem at all. recently i have OCed it to 2.4ghz which is equalvilent to a 3800+ at half of the price.

Cons: none.

Overall Review: i could get it to 2.5ghz with default voltages, but i want to play safe so i back down to 2.4ghz, it's like a free upgrade. ps: my cpu temp starts @ 22c normal load at 26 to 28c. full load at 39c, never see it exceed 40c.

rock solid

BIOSTAR N4SLI-A9 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
BIOSTAR N4SLI-A9 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: i put 2 pcs together with this board, everything is good. nothing bad like the other reviewers talked about have happened!(it's been 3 months now) great price for all the feathers it supported. of course the most important of all, solid stable.

Cons: i heard that this mobo is not a great ocer, well i only want to oc it slightly, maybe from 2.0ghz to 2.2-2.4ghz for my a64 3200+.

Overall Review: for those who wants great oc, get DFI. the rest of us could buy this solid stable mobo for it's low price with great feathers.

not bad for it's price

PNY GeForce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card VCG6600GXPB
PNY GeForce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card VCG6600GXPB

Pros: gives me pretty good 3dmark05 and 06 numbers with it's stock clocking. i could get 3641/1566 for 05/06 respectively at stock speed. 3925/1671 @ 550/1080, for some reason i can't go any higher on memory, i believe my driver has stoped me, i'm using 77.77 now. my rig: AMD athlon 64 3200 this card @ 550/1080 ultra 2x512mb ram antec super lanboy my temp for the card never exceed 63c before with oc.

Cons: can't go any higher 1080 with 77.77 driver, planning on installing a better driver later.

Overall Review: buy this card if you don't have a big budget. other wise get something like 6800gs or 7800gt, much better price/performance. 6800gs came out after i got this card like 3 months ago. T_T sigh....

super cool

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ - Athlon 64 Venice Single-Core 2.0 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA3200BPBOX

Pros: runs very cool and silently with it's stock package. idle around 27-28c, i never see it running more than 35c. in summer maybe the case will be different.

Cons: non, given it's price and performance and great overclockbility

Overall Review: buy this for single core, buy opteron 165 for best and cheapest dual core.
