Works as well as can be expected on Linux

Pros: I swapped this in for an old DVD drive on my Linux system and it just worked for reading DVDs and Blu-ray discs; no need for special drivers or kernel configuration. Optical drives are pretty standardized, so this is nothing more or less than what I expected, but I always like it when a review mentions that a piece of hardware works with Linux, so there you go, it works with Linux. Even though the box is in Chinese, it includes an English-language insert with instructions and other information about the drive.
Cons: Sometimes it runs a little hot. Not so much that it's necessarily a problem; maybe the drive is designed for that, for all I know. But I do generally give it a few minutes to cool between discs just to be safe.
Overall Review: Performance is about the same as my old one: roughly 10-12 minutes per hour of video content from a DVD, and about 30-40 minutes per hour from a Blu-ray disc. I have not tried it with UHD. For anyone who doesn't know: Linux does not have good *software* support for reading Blu-ray discs, because open-source programs are not reliably able to undo the encryption. People sometimes leave bad reviews on Blu-ray drives complaining that they don't work on Linux because they don't know that the problem is the software, not the drive itself. But I have not yet encountered a disc that MakeMKV couldn't handle.
Good sound quality but failed after a couple years

Pros: I bought these for a family member, and she was very impressed with the improvement from her previous speakers. When they worked, these ones worked quite well: good sound quality, good power, easy to hear people's voices and the fine details of music and that sort of thing. They're also relatively easy to set up and control.
Cons: After a couple years of use, the sound started intermittently cutting out, getting progressively worse, until the speakers became essentially unusable. At other times they'd have a lot of background noise, emitting static or feedback-like sounds. It seems like a wire came loose somewhere inside.
Overall Review: I suspect that the particular set of speakers I got was shoddily constructed or defective from the factory. That could be a rare random fluke, and if I could be confident that's the case, I would happily recommend these to anyone who needs a good-quality but relatively inexpensive set of computer speakers. But as it is, I don't know if it's an issue with the model or the brand overall, so I can only rate them based on my experience, and that experience wasn't very good. A couple years is not a reasonable time-to-failure for this kind of product.
Easy to use and works well, can't ask for more

Pros: These chargers do exactly what they're supposed to do: I plug them into USB power, plop my phone down on them, and it charges. There's no configuration to do, no companion app or integrated smart functionality or any of that nonsense that companies sometimes add in to products that don't need it. They seem solidly built as well, so I don't feel like I have to worry about them breaking if I bump them the wrong way or something like that.
Cons: The chargers can be a little finicky with the placement of the phone: if I don't get the orientation right or have it too far off in any direction, it won't charge. But it's easy enough to tell when that's the case, and this seems like a tiny enough issue I wouldn't dock the rating for it. I doubt that any competing product would do much better in this respect.
Overall Review: Definitely recommended. 5/5 no notes
Good material, not a good fit

Pros: The masks are made of a soft but thick material and have ear straps. No worries about falling off.
Cons: They leave holes on either side of my nose, which kind of defeats the point of wearing a mask in the first place.
Overall Review: Personally, I wouldn't buy these again; I'd look for something with an adjustable nose bridge. But if they fit your nose well enough, go for it, they should be fine.
Runs fast, Linux compatible, no complaints

Pros: I bought this to replace a ten-year-old Phenom II X4. Compared to the Phenom, it is _fast_. The difference was immediately apparent; CPU-intensive programs that used to run for three days now finish in 6-8 hours. Granted, my standards are kind of low from using a decade-old processor for so long, but there's not really anything else I want out of a CPU. Well, Linux compatibility, of course. I'm using this on a Linux system with no problems.
Cons: None that I've seen
Overall Review: Overall, based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend this CPU. It's been a couple years since I bought it so I assume it's not top-of-the-line anymore, but it's still very capable and I expect to be making good use of it for a long time.
Works perfectly with Linux

Pros: I'm using this board on a Linux system, and it's been working for two years with basically no problems. I'm not the most demanding user but that's all I could ask out of a motherboard. It comes with a graphical BIOS interface that makes configuration quite painless, and the included instruction booklet gives a good overview of all parts of the board.
Cons: For a little while after I got the board, the boot menu would occasionally not show up and I'd have to turn it off and on again to start up the system. I haven't had that happen for more than a year though; maybe it was a fluke that went away once the board was broken in. The plug for the power and reset lights on my case doesn't have a place on the board, but that's very minor. Also, I've found the SATA ports a little hard to reach, but not too bad.
Overall Review: I bought this board to go with a Ryzen 7 CPU and DDR 4 2933 RAM after the failure of my previous 10-year-old CPU. Maybe I would have had more problems if I hadn't paired the board with new hardware, I don't know. But the experience has been quite smooth, and if I had to make a recommendation based only on my experience, it would definitely be positive.
Prompt shipping and good communication
The item I ordered was delivered surprisingly quickly, within a few days, arriving exactly as described in the product listing. There was also a digital code that was included in my purchase, and I got my code by a direct message from the seller mere hours after ordering despite it being on a Sunday. (I would have been completely happy if I heard from them during business hours the next day as well.) I haven't had any reason to contact them to complain about the product, but I did send a message thanking them for their communication and I got a quick response, so I have every reason to believe that if I did need to contact them about a product problem, they would be quickly responsive and would work with me. Nothing more I can ask, really.
Prompt delivery but wrong tracking information
The product I ordered was listed with typical delivery times of 4-9 days, and it did arrive in 4 days, but the tracking number I was given wasn't correct, so I had no notification that the package was coming. If it hadn't been delivered to my doorstep, I might never have gotten it. Also, it came in a shipping envelope from a certain competing online marketplace. I'm not thrilled about this since part of the reason I shop at Newegg is to avoid doing business with that competitor, but I can't complain too much about that since the product seems to be as advertised. This experience could have been a fluke, so I wouldn't mind ordering from this seller again, but I'd be on the lookout for similar issues.
Delivered early, no issues
The item I ordered was shipped directly to someone else, so I didn't get to inspect it personally, but I know it arrived several days earlier than the expected delivery date and I'm told it was in good condition and sturdily packed. Can't ask for anything better!
