Exactly What I Was Hoping For
Pros: -Very easy install, small enough to fit very comfortably in my mATX build (inside a Thermaltake H17) -Plays everything I've thrown at it (Apex Legends, WOW, Division 2) at Ultra settings 1080p with super high framerates -Great for a lower power draw system, I have a 550w Corsair power supply and I'm barely touching half of my total power -Stays cool under load, after a few days I havent seen it get above 63 C
Cons: -If I'm being very nitpicky, it seems like the fans could be attached a little better to the board, there's a little bit of wiggle there. But that's me really searching for something
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this card to anyone shopping for a midrange GPU right now. I watched what felt like 3,000 youtube videos and read countless articles trying to decide between this and the regular GTX 1660, and ultimately I felt the price difference was justified thanks to GDDR6 memory in the ti compared to the GDDR5 in the regular version and the little bit of extra horsepower you get from the ti version. It helped that this Armor OC version was on sale and had a mail in rebate going for it, making it just about 25 bucks more expensive than the vanilla 1660. Overall I feel better about being able to run more demanding future titles in this guy, and at 1080p this thing should be an absolute beast for quite awhile.
