Impressive

Pros: Easy open side panel. Removable hard drive bay. Plenty of mounting screws. Solid construction. I've owned this case for a year and a half and it still looks great. If you want something that looks classy and not flashy then this case fits the bill. Despite a few cons this case is worth every penny and I highly recommend it. It screams "serious computing"!
Cons: Hard drive rack spring kept falling down inside the case whenever I removed the rack. I eventually removed the thumb screw altogether with no adverse effects. If you don't swap out drives very often then this won't be an issue, as it's basically a "set it and forget" configuration. Tool-free expansion clips weren't quite sturdy enough for my Nvidia 7100GS. No bid deal, just used a screw. I love this case, but the firewire punchout only makes me wish for a real firewire ready case.
Overall Review: I was also building a system for my husband during this time using a Linkworld case. He often gives me grief, because he says I bought the "expensive" case for myself and gave him the "cheap" one. Handles would have been nice, because like any case this thing is heavy with four hard drives and two optical drives installed.
Stay Away

Pros: Mesh sheathing looks sharp.
Cons: Died the first day. I just hope my cpu and motherboard survived. This was a replacement psu. I was leery of going back to this poisoned well, but I reasoned that it would last me at least a month until I could afford a more reliable brand. Don't be fooled by the occasional five egg ratings. And don't dismiss the poor ratings as flukes. You can take chances with some things, but not power supplies. I learned that lesson the hard way.
Overall Review: I bought the 480W version from Hiper over a year ago. Within ten months my new build began to exhibit quirks. Drives occasionally wouldn't get recognized and system would require reboot. Then the more obvious power-related signs surfaced. Wouldn't power back on after system was powered down. I RMA'd back to the manufacturer. I was without my computer for over two weeks, because they shipped ground. RMA was automatic, no hassles. But today when the replacement finally arrived it was the 530W version along with an environmentally friendly tote bag. I was satisfied that at least the company was trying to throw in a little extra to make things right. That is until I installed it. I plugged in the essential hardware and powered it up. Everything worked fine. I used the system for a few hours and decided to connect my other drives. Powered down, unplugged the psu, and connected the other drives. Plugged in the psu and sparks flew! Hiper... Never Again!!
Does the Job

Pros: Bought 1 stick of this workhorse when it was over 4 times the current price. It was worth it then and it's certainly worth buying more now. It's been handling Vista like a champ (even though 2GB would have been more suitable). Kingston just makes good stuff.
Cons: None
