Nice
Pros: HDMI, DVI, Optical Out, easily upgradable if needed
Cons: One of the drivers is NOT included on the driver CD
Overall Review: You will be missing a High Definition Audio Driver that the install CD does NOT have. GO to Gigabyte's website, and download the HDMI driver. Why they did not include this in the driver CD is beyond my knowledge.
Meh...too much for too little
Pros: Looks nice, fast when works, lots of features
Cons: Maybe too many features?
Overall Review: Couldnt get my Dell Inspirion 1525 to connect to this thing at all, nor my PS3 for more than 5 minutes; even after the firmware update. Was also causing throughput problems for my LAN, where it would more or less not connect to the internet. Once i removed it, everything was fine. Returned for a different one.
Awful
Pros: None
Cons: Bought 10 of these things...the first 2 i tried were the most convoluted in terms of getting them to boot from a USB, and then they would default back over to the drive...that wasn't showing up! I would then reboot, and the video went out...8 beep codes = something is wrong with the video. Just absolutely silliness.
Awesomeness
Pros: Easy as all heck to set up and they just work, very well I might add
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: For a simple WiFi extender, this these little guys are just awesome. As stated, easy to set up and and go with a mobile phone or tablet. Really allows for your house to be fully covered, as long as you know where the dead zones are and you dont put one in it.
Green lights!
Pros: Works
Cons: Doesn't not work
Overall Review: As someone else mentioned, the BIOS is a bit different than most (where is the boot menu???). Other than that, works like its supposed to. Nice to see a black backplate on a sub-$100 MB. I wish EVERYONE did this. Nothing more annoying than having all black everything, and than a shiny silver backplate. Love that this includes a built in DAC port. very cool feature.
No USB 3.0 header?
Pros: Price
Cons: Lack of, what is now, standard
Overall Review: I guess I am confused as to why this board has no USB 3.0 header on it. Literally makes no sense. Had to use an PCI-E card to get the header needed. Good thing this board was on sale.
